Ryotaro was putting noodles into his bowl much quicker than Nick so he was able to eat more. He had less wasted energy. I also think that compare to previous videos of wanko soba where the count did to be less, this was much higher was because you guys were standing which helped digestion and not hit a wall. I really enjoyed watching this challenge.

Five minutes in... An observation. You're training boxing, spinning bird kick. This is good for achieving hunger and speeding up your metabolism. The Japanese guy is training slurping technique along with his martial arts. This could help him with the task at hand. Try to keep specificity of training.
