I’ve seen enough comments about this so I thought I would answer it in one comment. We discussed the whole spicy food thing by cooking a pepper, and agreed it was fine and the wording wasn’t precise, since it didn’t state “cold resistant food”. With how the race was going, it also didn’t change the outcome of the race. I plan to upload the entire VOD to my VOD channel if people are interested in seeing how it was going without cuts, so subscribe to that channel to see when that video drops in a few days! But if you guys are interested we could definitely do a 3rd race, making it a BO3👀

I'd argue it really did change the race alot, I think it would've been an even closer divine beast at the ending. Meals didn't require cold res to pop up but meals in botw need to trigger a plate icon. Fun fact though cooking a single spicy pepper in a pot would've made the meal plate come up, because linkus realized it was a quick goal first I feel like he would've gotten it anyways but that divine beast fight would've been super super close I would've preferred to see it end with both of you fighting waterblight...race 3 needs too happen for the linkus redemption arc.

@@theoddjuan972 ​ nah linkus actually recook the meal and did it the right way (therefore spending extra time for this goal) while smallant used that time to secure two early goals himself, so it definitely didn't change much. Linkus already won when he got all the tower goals.

There was a lot of toxicity from their respective communities on their collaborations. They’ve both talked about what happened on stream and naturally there are KZbin videos of it too so I recommend you listen to both sides of the coin.

It's so crazy with Lockouts. I always think one person is way in the lead because I don't know the extreme planning everyone is doing in their heads. Never count out Linkus though. You are so great at these.

I mean if you look at it sure having 4 of essentially the same quest lined up like that is very convenient for the person that rushes it first - But it was 3-2 to Linkus when he realised and started grinding towers, and after he got the 10th one it was 7-5 which also includes all the time Smant wasted getting to 5 towers. It’s not like he just got 4 free tiles on the board, it still took a decent chunk of time and really only ended up with a +1 advantage over what smant was doing by no means was it game breaking board luck. All it means is that there’s 3 less unique quests and more heavy priority towards grinding towers at the start, as oppose to leaving a single 8-10 tower tile til the end, and that kind of bingo RNG prioritisation shift is what makes the bingo fun imo.

Even if someone was 1 behind, he had a chance if the other messed up, the order of the towers would have mateted more and it wouldn't have been 3 free goals back-to-back for whoever got 7 first.

The 4 boxes with towers 7-8-9-10 was such a game winner, 4 back to back that are pretty much guaranteed after getting the first one cause there is no point in going for them once someone gets the first one, and smant had already done 5 of them, huge

Spicy Pepper actually DOES count as a fruit, you just need to combine it with a "chilly" food (such as Hydromelon) to deactivate its spicy property.

I've been looking for a Moblin Club for that kid since about 4 hours into the game. Now all dungeons done, got the Master Sword, max stamina, dozens of outfits and foods, multiple of most other weapons and I have yet to see a single Moblin Club despite warping back to the plateau and that area multiple times looking for one. They always have boko bats instead!!! Now I've actually looked into the guide for help and notice that once I find one I'll easily complete the "harder" weapons since I'm already carrying most of them... Also, "I kinda need to shave right now", what? I can't see one whisker on that babyface! Oh, that's not what those are for?

@@rosalineprior670 idk how the boards work but they would use the same seed if that's how the boards are randomised. But they won't be connected so they couldn't see the other players board. I guess it wouldn't be lockout though because they could both do the same goals but whoever does a certain amount of goals first (maybe like 10 or all) would of course be the winner. Idk, I just think it would be a cool challenge.
