Honestly I think a competitive randomizer would be great for this and be super interesting to watch, of course we'd need to see if it'd work, but having separate inventories for some key items would require them to negotiate deals on tackling progression obstacles together. Then, they'd need to try to gain the lead again and set their time apart.

After watching ZFG do randomizer for so long I think I became a little desensitized to how hard it really is. Watching these two do a seed that is *relatively* easy, it really puts it into perspective. Great job Linkus and Smallant.

OoT online randomizers existed for a while now I remember a year or two ago I think it was where I would play with 4 to sometimes 8 people and it would take a few hours to clear specific seeds 😂

@GoldenWingsSmash-qx4cb the easiest way is probably to use the Ship of Harkinian PC port. It has rando built in. Or if you're specifically talking about the multiplayer you need a version 1.0 rom and OotModLoader.

Pretty sure you can have 2 separate games linked up with each other's items as well (I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to see the other player for they are in their own game). I think you can even make it up to 3 players. I haven't seen them much but they seem like a ton of fun!

There is something called Archipelago that could pull off something like this. And even better, it works across multiple games, so you could link an OoT randomizer to, for example, a Mario 64 Randomizer
