Honestly I think a competitive randomizer would be great for this and be super interesting to watch, of course we'd need to see if it'd work, but having separate inventories for some key items would require them to negotiate deals on tackling progression obstacles together. Then, they'd need to try to gain the lead again and set their time apart.

I love that he found that 36 Questions study. It's one of my favorites! The point was to see if you could accelerate human bonding using scientifically-proven methods to improve connection. They originally hoped to find a way to manifest love essentially, but only one pair in the group got married. Of the rest, however, every pair but one stayed in contact as close friends, potentially for life! That's why I love this study. There is something called Archipelago that could pull off something like this. And even better, it works across multiple games, so you could link an OoT randomizer to, for example, a Mario 64 Randomizer

Pretty sure you can have 2 separate games linked up with each other's items as well (I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to see the other player for they are in their own game). I think you can even make it up to 3 players. I haven't seen them much but they seem like a ton of fun!
