I’m a 48-year-old father of two and been playing golf since I was 14. My son grew up playing basketball and tennis but never golf…until two years ago when he was introduced to Garrett and GoodGood. He got his old man hooked. Don’t even ask me how much $$ I’ve spent on GoodGood apparel. This video has me so excited to see all the high level golf to be played between Garrett and pro guests in the near future. I think Garrett tends to play a lot better in these type of 1 on 1 matches with very talented golfers. Like he has more focus on his game when there's less going on on the course

I Broke my score Record for 18 Holes today at my local Golf Club, At +44 over and only Damaged 6 Cars and Killed a Fox , and Two Pigeons. And only had to pay for 9 New Windows in the Clubhouse…. All in all a Great Day….😂 And on a Positive Note a New Rule has been Implemented that If I’m booked in to play again all Members are now required to wear a Hardhat ….😂

Great to see Ben on the channel. One thing I noticed with Ben and Luke is that they prefer to use stock yardage and take spin or distance off. Not sure what the pros do with that concept but you never see them going full swing mode on their approach shots. Really nice to see the various of shot selection they display.

Mira Vista - Sam Rodolph is the head pro, on the PGA Senior Tour rn and great coach. You have played the course its in fort worth. Tom Hoge is a member and lives there. Tee times are always available. You can play in the scratch game to meet people. The have men's night out scramble to meet people and they are all friendly.

I noticed some comments about spin. My good friend played 5 years on the Japanese tour 5 years in Asia and 12 PGA starts. He took spin off the ball. As he said it's to tough to judge how far it will spin back. It wasn't unusual to see him bunt a 9 iron 125 to control the spin. This was a while back, and the ball spun more. I hope that answers some questions

Garrett, you gotta hold the follow through on your putts more. You come out of the putt early very often, and the habit of staying in the stroke longer will really help you stay consistent on start line. Looking forward to the content working to get better. I love the idea of sponsoring athletes , Good Good is helping them to ease their pro journey , get noticed a little more and maybe even help them develop relationships with the bigger boys like Callaway and what not. To me this is the path forward for the PGA , use these big channels to help showcase talent and even help them along with the big golf companies to maybe develop future stars and create loyalty out of these young guys to the PGA. This is what the big PGA stars need to be thinking about instead of just funneling more $ into their own already huge pockets. If you really want to grow the game , I think this is a great way to do it along with loyalty to PGA.

For the practice question… range, definitely watters creek. Course (not grandiose but great for budget, challenging yet fun) oak hollow would be my suggestion. Definitely not Frisco area (north McKinney)… and no, I don’t work there lol. It’s my favorite every week play. Retired hockey goalie, went to golf (went from physical pain to mental pain 😂) and thanks to channels like Rick Shiels, Bob DS, GG and GM, my golf game is much better than the past. Keep up these awesome videos!

Glad to know I'm not the only person who gets really aggravated with impatient Golfers who don't take in to account how packed the course is when they play. I've had the same situation a few times. We played a course last fall where we were literally walking off a par 3 green and a golf ball landed 3-4 feet from us. Honestly, we weren't even playing slow. We were playing a scramble style, best ball and had to wait at least 5 minutes for the people in front of us....but we didn't hit at them. One of the guys in our group got really aggravated and said if that happens again I'll launch their ball right back at them and I bet they won't do it again....luckily that didn't happen thank God! LOL!

The player who is winning the match is "dormie", from the French "dormir" (being, "to sleep") - that is, the golfer who is leading the match can (literally) sleep, and not worry about losing the match. So, if you are wining, you are "dormie", or "asleep" (in the match). Hope that helps

Regarding your membership inquiry in the Frisco area, I’m a member at Frisco Lakes. $75/month, unlimited range balls, only $16 or $10 for 18 holes, depending on the time of day, cart included. Only restriction is your tee time has to be 12 noon or later. Frisco Lakes range is waaay better than Trails of Frisco. There’s an app you can use to reserve tee times as a member at Frisco Lakes up to 7 days in advance.
