I changed electronics on my Gibson Explorer

During my search for new electronics parts for my Gibson Explorer i came across an austrian based company called arty's-custom- guitars. They sell real fine pre-made Electronics for all kind of guitars. I decided on electronics with 50's wiring. I'm really impressed how the guitar sounds now. So versatile warm...but hear yourself.

Helmut, thanks a lot! This is one of my top 5 YT videos this year. Great playing and tones, especially in a mix. Your Woman Tone and the two pickups together a la Allman Brothers is to die for. I have a Korina Explorer that I want to modify and I'm going to use the same wiring schematic with an old 0.010 bee and Greg Martin CTS pots. Eventually, a Faber bridge should complete the circle. i've used a few Arty's harnesses, because im lazy too ;-) . They are outstanding! The customer support from Arty's is Premium! I have tested them in a pimp project and the Tele was sonically elevated to Custom Shop level with the no caster pickups and the harness. I'm currently building a baby of a Les Paul and an ES 336 as a full solid body and have therefore ordered a 50's les paul wiring harness to use in conjuntion with a set of vintage '59 Mojo Tone unpotted Humbuckers. Cant wait to get it all up and running. Hands down, the choice of parts and assembly is second to none!

For the tones I wanted I put the EMG Het Set in my 1984 Explorer. For lower gain tones like these I like the Duncan TB4 in my ESP
