During my first soc kvk I used scipio-alex which got double the kills than my guan-scipio. I remember that kvk very often when I'm about to invest on commanders

When I played years ago I made Alex 5551, great investment back then obviously (around 2020/2021). However I quit the game for over 2 years and returned in late November, 2023. At that time after I watched some yt videos and everyone saying Alex is trash I obviously regretted investing in him soo much. Liu Che was already released at that time, however people haven't had catched on on the Liu/Alex combination. You were actually one of the first creators that gave me the idea to use Liu/Alex, and I didn't regret a single thing. Even though my Liu was only 5511 at that time, and my Alex 5551, I got 2:1 kp trades in soc. It was honestly such a good combination. I then decided to Expertise Liu Che, but I think I'll keep Alex at 5551, even with that skill configuration he's doing wonders. Right now I'm working on my first cav march, I invested into Huo and made him 5553, my Joan is only at 5111 unfortunately, for now I'll probably use him with Mehmed double relic instead of Joan, until I get her to 5515.

My kvk2 has just ended and I haven't invested in any legendary commanders yet. I am wondering if sun tzu with an expertise liu chu would work. The reason I dont want to invest in Scipio is incase there is a better infantry commander in the release coming up.

I don’t think there will be a better inf commander than LC or scipio anytime soon. You certainly could run LC/Sun, but if you have the heads I would encourage you to get both LC and scipio, as Scip/LC is the best inf march in the game

If you have an expertised Pyrrhus in kvk2 and a 5551 Alex, would that be a good combo until you exp Alex? Exp YSG or Exp Pyrrhus would you suggest? Just seems like Pyrrhus has alot of synergy

Pyrrhus is a great commander, but very few people will have him maxed in S2, let alone SOC, bc he’s a gold key commander. However, if you’re a whale and you have him, I certainly think you should use him. He’s great with LC as well

@@gainzgaming1 Ill defs test him, I just finished kvk1 myself and bought Pyrrhus in the dailies so am lucky enough to have him expertised as well as YSG (idk if id say whale though, gem supply, lucerne and dailies are my budet). Hope for the best I guess

You could spin inf wheels for him until he’s 5551, until then I’d probably say 5511 Gorgo is better than 5531 Alex

LC + double relic Alex is the best ball-fighting march in the game right now (note, not necessarily the strongest march, but best in ball-fighting due to Alex's double tap)

I'd wait on Alex for 2 months until information about the new infantry commanders is released. If we get an AOE infantry commander at that time, then Alex will no longer be meta, and you would prefer to invest your heads in the new AOE infantry commander instead. If we don't get an AOE inf commander, then Alex will be solid for another year.

If you’re in SOC I’d say it’s a little late to invest in Alex unless you have a ton of excess heads, this is more so for early game players
