STOP USING T5!? How much of a difference does T5 make? Should we mix troops Rise of Kingdoms

T4 cheaper to heal per unit, but over time you spend more speed ups on them due to putting more of them into the hospital. The mixed tier troops I've been told/heard about was 3/4 T5 1/4 T4 until people start to max tech in kvk then the trades start to not be as good. Also have to take into account cutting edge kvk buff were T5 will take less sevs from lower tier units and I think it also counts T4 into this but I'm not 100% sure on this. Bilegt did a video about T4 vs T5 and came to the conclusion if you got a lot of farms but not much time, go T5, otherwise go T4.

@@MrSiegeOfficial It's always worth testing even if the math is done, as there are always factors you can't account for and different mechanics. Especially how 99% of the time towers will only take ranged counter attack damage which may give different results to the traditional marches and the set ups people used to use. So your testings will always be of use even if all it does is prove the math correct.

My kvk with a 2nd seige march just wrapped up a week ago. I found that, even running t5 seige, I used less resources and speedups than previous kvk's, while getting much better results. I dumped my archer marches in 2024 and retooled with two Engineering. I am convinced that seige is more efficient, with better results. I'm so convinced that I swapped for John and Stephen to run 3 seige, 2 infantry and one Cav on the field in our next kvk. Thanks for exploring new ideas. 👍

You know, the new 6 marchs in lost canyon is sucky for us low spenders f2p. But one benefit is that I’ve got to put the epic Sidge commanders to use as a 6th march while I work on some other stuff in the meantime. It’s preforming quite well under all the circumstances and I’m quite happy

i played 2x pair siege (Margaret+Cordoba gold eq t5, Gaja+Barbur purple eq t4). T5 - give more kills in shorter time, more time hospital, more rss for heal. T4- give higher rate % report, less time hospital, less rss for heal, but also less kills -almost 3-4x less than T5. For me was good tactic ... put t4 in front of t5.. when they swarm my t4 i had time for run with my t5 :) so im agree to mix t4 and t5 but not 50%50% but 1 army t4 and 1 army t5, its realy save rss and speeds:)

T4 will trade good and save a lot of rss, but you get not that much better trades. And kvk tech and everything that gets stats is dependend on the troops base stats. T5 have higher base stats.

Keep in mind that trades aren't important as well. It's important to push back the enemy and win fights. If you just want "the best kill ratio" then it's your best choice to go be a farm hunter and only kill that way. These kills give insane ratios. But it won't win you war. Sometimes you have to fight with bad ratios even to save a flag and stop the enemy.

I wonder if putting any amount of t1 can be beneficial maybe? 🤔 The first cast is always the slowest, so maybe have t1 die in the first rounds and then when it starts casting faster your t4/5 will trade better / cost less?

My Siege march is my only pure T5, all other marches i run a 60/40 mix T5/T4 its much more cost efficient

in kvk we have debuff for T4, thats not same if you test in AOO
