I remember watching Carl play that Final Fantasy Tactics music level. It's a wee bit off at the beginning but the second half is spot on. Hilariously, I wasn't paying attention to the title so I didn't know the name of the song, and spent the next like 4 hours of the day scouring FFT's soundtrack trying to FIND the song because I knew the name and just couldn't remember it.... it's... right there... It's Apoplexy. It's a good'un. Also the lil man in the level's thumbnail is a skeleton enemy. Nasty foes, they have a 50% chance to just... not stay dead after the death countdown reaches zero. (The game functioning like a slightly more lenient Fire Emblem, for those that know that game better. I prefer FFT.)

The held out electric guitar notes that bothered you are sadly not in the maker's control to stop. That particular sound (caused by hammer bros being hit by music blocks) is one of only a few types of sustained musical sounds in the game - and that one gets sustained the longest. The only way to cut it short is to push the hammer bros down and off the screen or kill them. (I've done this myself with fire piranha plants - one of the other sustained instrumental sounds - in my own music levels.) However, because he's using this unique kind of music setup that plays on a loop, that's not an option. Nothing can be done about it.

How can you have not played Final Fantasy??? :D However, Final Fantasy Tactics (the one that the stage was made of) is a fantastic game. One of the best. The pixel art is of a monster in the game and shows it appearing to be dead as well. Undead (which it is) in that game have a chance of reviving themselves in that game and getting back up to attack you if you do not end the battle before their countdown timer finishes. Quite a cool mechanic.
