Hey man, ironically I also got a job in parts at a harley dealer, Shoreline Harley-Davidson in westomg branch, New Jersey. I've been there almost 2 months now. Wild how you're already a manager, I'm just learning how to modify inventory
@UncleBogator8 ай бұрын
Well take that with a grain of salt. I come from almost 2 decades of successful retail leadership. I don't need to know the nuts and bolts (get it?) of the inventory piece of it right away. But teaching a team how to sell is where my expertise is. Grats on the job though my man! Hop you like it. I do

I've worked construction, in a mill and have been in engineering since I was out of college. I hate it. But it pays the bills and keeps me on my visa. Good on you trying different things now that you can. I'd always have to do something as well, definitely couldn't sell things I don't think :D Definitely would like to see a pressure washing video, best of luck with it!

I love the Moto vlog's . I retired a little early a few years ago and I got a part time job driving for Enterprise and I love it . Can't just sit around I need a purpose and I love to drive and the job is low stress . You obviously love motorcycles and found a job where you can be around them and be around like minded people and learn another side of the business sounds like a win win . Good luck my friend with your new gig and side gig and welcome to Deland .

As a former metric parts guy....welcome to the club. The big money is out on the floor (selling high dollar apparel/accessories), not just staying behind the counter selling nuts and bolts. I would do it again in a heartbeat if 1. no weekends and 2. it paid enough to support my family. Maybe you could do dealer videos for them (their KZbin channel or new/used bike reviews)? Good luck.
@rasmusmller25878 ай бұрын
Perhaps make KZbin videos of some of the unique parts that you sell from time to time. Like a Tech Tip Thursday type of deal 😎🏍️👍🏻

As a business owner my best advice I can give you is to find a good accountant to do your itemized taxes, it costs you nothing as it's cost is also tax deductible, and ask them questions on what makes their and your life easier on handling receipts and bills. Good luck with your work and business.👍
