Glad we aren't the only ones with that issue. Our paint gun did the same thing. Sometimes new is better.

A long time ago I cleaned the foam gun every time I used it.They all ended up getting cloged. One day, a professional from another industry told me that it was best to never clean the gun. Just shoot some foam regularly into the trash can if you think you're going to go without using it for a while. And change the foam cartridge when it is empty. It will last you very, very much longer.

I just did the same thing and got the message from Home Depot that my order is ready to be picked up! There is another video about caring for and cleaning these guns called "How to Use and Care for a Professional Spray-Foam Gun." I wish I had looked for this information before I destroyed my first pro-gun!

I have never had good luck with replacing the cans on a foam gun. I don't know what I do wrong when I try and put a new can on but it leaks around the can and I can never get it to seal.

Acetone aka nail polish remover great for taking off lots of stuff. I was looking at one of those guns so this is great advice

Super important to clean the gun with the acetone can, then remove the can, then pull the trigger again to release cleaner and foam still in the metal,shaft.

It does come in at least one other color. I use a type called Pur (pure) Black.

Colors matter to some people. I prefer b/w Makes it all easier.

Would vinegar work? I use it as a cleaner/unclogger for several purposes. Soaking the items in it for several hours if needed.

it didn't work. looking online, there isn't anything that will melt solid foam :(

Have the same gun an same issue. It is NOT made to last even when you use the cleaner after use and before storage. I was surprised that you got that brass insert out so easily mine is stripping the slots. Everything on mine is difficult to disassemble the tube should also unscrew but the hex strippes. When in the habit of disassembling firearms with more parts one would think this great stuff spray gun pro should be a piece of cake. NOT! My suggestion if you are still inclined to purchase this is to use it, attempt to clean it per instructions right after use, when this fails EXCHANGE it for a new unit before warranty runs out. Then if the new unit cannot be disassembled without damage, RETURN unit for a refund.
