There’s such a stark difference in Broxah’s coaching, that I think all of Ludwig’s other coaches failed at: when there’s action going on, and Ludwig needs to focus on what’s on his screen, Broxah ISNT TALKING. Every other coach Ludwig has had would treat it like they were casting his game. Broxah knows that there are appropriate times to speak and teach, and there’s moments to be silent, let the student focus and make their own decisions.

Probably one of the greatest coaching sessions ive witnessed. Broxah definitely has a very good method to teaching. Patient, and willing to listen to the explanation of his student while allowing the student to correct their own mistakes by nudging them in the right direction. Also reaffirming the good things and building confidence is huge. People dont learn from being told what to do, people learn by understanding WHY they should be doing something, great job!

I don't even play league, but watching this is incredibly useful. Knowing how big Lud's personality is, and having seen how he has clashed with other players/coaches, this session is amazingly insightful. So many of the lessons needed in competitive team gaming aren't even specific to the game or video games in general, but are instead pretty universal emotional intelligence principles. Know what is or isn't in your control. Being aware of and resilient to moments of provocation/triggers. And exercising a larger perspective, even when one thing doesn't go your way.

that was such great coaching! Calmy explaining what to do, not yell or keep repeating going louder to try to make him listen when he doesn't for ex. hear the base call. Not giving too much information in 1 go was also very nice. You made him think himself, but with guidance where needed. Answered questions with direction on how to go about making potentially making the play in stead of saying it's bad, making him realize that the play was bad which is 1000 times better than just being told it's bad. These tips definitely sticked with him and you are the reason he most likely hit plat that quickly afterwards. But didn't expect anything less as well from the jungler GOAT 😊

Respect to Lud for not giving up the climb. Almost 550 games to plat. It sounds like alot, but the math says you should expect almost 200 games just to climb from Bronze 2 to Silver 2. Its not unreasonable to think an average first time climb from placement to plat to take 700 or more at 55% winrate. Great coaching too, of course. I definitely think it put him in that good mental space to pull out that win streak.

@studentt6064
@studentt6064 17 күн бұрын
Definitely, most players have difficulty playing into a losing lane. Sometimes you just gotta focus on not feeding, spending mana on minions and giving up hope of ever getting a kill on the other laner and not harass, or by just giving up lane entirely and roaming (though roaming can be very iffy if you don't have a good champ for that). Ofc you'll have to hope that somebody else kinda carries then, but it's better than running it down and feeding. Overall it'll probably improve your win rate a bit but it's not as flashy as constantly winning your lane and carrying.

One thing you can keep in mind is to least save 1 stack of your Q. Your Q has 2 stacks. You can use 1 stack to gap-close. It is even better if you can just walk up to the enemy without using any, if possible. Use your other remaining Q, when your enemy manage to create distance between you. This allows you to have more sticking power. Some times, your enemy will dodge left and right to predict your Q which will slightly delay their escape. This mind game create a lot of pressure for your opponent.
