I play with my wrist slightly bent inward due to a broken hand and wrist 30 years ago. I have to position my wrist/hand in this way in orser to come theu whitey straight during my stroke. Gr8 Video!

well timed video, thank you. i've been working on this recently and found that i totally relieved my inadvertent left spin if my wrist was straight. it takes a conscious effort, but my stroke is much better.

Hi John! I got this taught from the get go by - Jasmin Ouschan! I still have a crappy stance and my alignment isn‘t the best, but I have git a super straight stroke at least. But I also learned, many ways work, at the end, you have to put the work in.

According to what reference point for your "feel".....some players feel the inside of thumb knuckle....some players feel web between thumb and index knuckle....some players(such as me) feel that the cue rests on the tip of index finger throughout....some feel tip of second(bird finger) ..... others feel differents points in the hand(such as Efren) depending on the shot, firmness, follow-through, if jacked-up, etc....I slways have favored a slight turning under at the wrist..... note: I have never seen a great player who was not confident in his individualism("this is how I do it")....YUP, and I seen a bunch of great players (a bunch)

Very very nice comparison. Also what I did noticed, and not sure if it’s camera angle or not, is that your elbow is a bit outside of the line of the shot. Not something bad as long as you train to control it. Me for example I have it inside. What I noticed in time is that having elbow inside or outside of the line of the shot requires lot of work having a straight follow through. Great videos keep posting. Thank you very much!!!

I use a slight tuck, similar to SVB. Reason for this for me is it pulls the back of my shaft inward correcting my alignment. If I use a straight wrist, I tend to come through the cue slightly off causing unintentional left throw and spin.

I use the same grip us Shane van boening and I noticed something that my stroke became better and the reason is that u drive in with the cue in a straight line and if u notice how shaven is break u gonna see the same exact he drive with his Bobby and shoulder and arm the same and end it up with the cue straight line ( I hope understand what I mean ) 🎱🎱🎱🎱👌

@@pocketedyoutube I play pool too not in a professional level but I try my best and a tip is try to make some stroke in side of the pool table to see if your elbow stays in the line it’s a very good exercise and effective to correct your stroke line I Learn it from Mike Siegel
