I picture everyone who's excited for MoP remix as that scene from The Matrix where the A.I. constructs are harvesting energy from human bodies lmfao MMORPG's were always about 'hamster in the wheel' kinda game design where we just farm and farm expecting satisfying outcomes and a game design that respects our time and effort, but now that the game has 0 integrity and everything is meaningless it's just why even play a version of the game from 2012 with rewards that everyone has seen and got but not even with 2012's design just with boring retail gameplay and playdough looking art and UI ???? However, what a SMART business choice! They understand that to each their own and that this decision would generate 50/50 feedback and did it anyways because they are smart enough to understand that it will be profitable. And they also understand that they have too much content in the retail version of the game that is literally wasted so hey let's think of how we can make money AGAIN off of old content and give players the illusion of "fresh". This whole thing is not my cup of tea but it's pretty obvious why it's happening and I guess we (we in this case means me) just have to come to terms that WoW now has a very split audience and they now have the tech and devtools to rapidly put out features that can shake up the very foundations of the original game we fell in love with.

The MoP is exciting because people who like the zones and whatever else mop related would be happy to play it in some way in which it has been made relevant by the game. It's completely different from Chromie. Chromie isn't a mass event for every player where you get good tmogs. It's a boring empty version of what was once a relevant expansion. And returning to MoP through this remix is going back to some of that relevancy.
