I really love the "desert" zither music! It reminds me of the "Journey of the Sorceror" clip used for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (radio show). Also guqin music.

Marvelous music !!! I just wish our universe was made in such a way we could perceive how a sound source looks just by listening to it. You kind of need the video along with the music to fully appreciate the full scale of the madness haha! With the video and the playing of the real things it's sooooo much more fun! :D

Salut, Nicolas ! : Bobby Brown - Enlightening Beam Of Axonda… C’est assez mystique, et intemporel... Au passage, les 2 pouces bien dressés pour ta musique !

Your dulcimer is so dreamy. In your ebook do you have instructions on how to make this? I've contemplated for a while ( don't ask me why) to get your ebook, I should just do it already even if I make one instrument that's satisfaction enough. Great sound in this entire video

'I will probably travel, one day, into a desert and I need a sun track.' proceeds to play the best sun track ever recorded. Also 'I want to play this bowl'. Your sublime humor is really funny. The track @11:32 could either become a metal song with some heavy distorted guitars, or go Indian style with that 'singing' drum that I don't know the name of.

Cool, a bit "linear" (loopy ?) maybe but still sounds really good ! "made by accident" "bicycle pump flute" and all others, I love it ! 🤩 Et sympa le matos gratos ! I love your stuff! one question: are you really recording with the setup you show in the video? I am asking since it seems your room is untreated for acoustics and I wonder how you don't get tons of echo in your recording
@prestonklik35742 жыл бұрын
Everything he did was very close mic'd. Not a lot of room sound can get in the recording. At least that's my guess.
@crapadopalese2 жыл бұрын
@@prestonklik3574 he's using a condenser mic. If you're going to count on proximity, might as well go for a dynamic mic.
@Emmanuel_Tuts-Schiemsky2 жыл бұрын
very close miced and a headphone to hear what happened in the room....... mister is also used to recording acoustic sounds.......it has become a second nature how he record...... also he don’t play very loud......very balanced......
@crapadopalese2 жыл бұрын
@@r.kapaun01 Do you just comment to hear yourself speak? Did you ever use a condenser mike? When I record with mine, if my neighbor is on the phone, I can hear what they're saying through the wall. If it were a dynamic mic, it would be fine. I don't know what you mean by "understanding your DAW", sounds like you just learned FL Studio yesterday and feel like a smart guy. How do you *remove* all the echo and ambiance of the room if it is untreated? What, slap the "Noise Reduction" default plugin and call it a day? That won't work.
@DevinJuularValentine2 жыл бұрын
@@crapadopalese I have no idea why you're being so combative, the tone of your comment isn't going to generate useful dialogue. That person's comment was not condescending or rude, but encouraging to anyone who would like to record at home. I will also attest - as a musician who has recorded professionally in a studio several times - at home, in my living room (which has a hardwood floor), I'm still able to get clean recordings with my condenser mic. Obviously if a motorcycle goes off outside, or something loud happens indoors then it will get picked up. But yeah, if you have a good level set, a good position on the microphone... As long as you're in a room with some soft furnishings then it's fine. Hell I even have a big window with no curtains. Is it studio quality? No. But it's good enough for being essentially free for me to do in my own time. Comments like yours will put people off even trying to record at home themselves thinking to do need all that acoustic treatment to get something that doesn't sound amateurish. Every room is different - some may be more challenging than others, but if you're getting a lot of echo and bad ambience then covering some hard surfaces with blankets will help. And trust me I am extremely particular with how things sound. I know when something sounds amateur and I've managed to record vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion all clean in this normal living room. And I haven't had to use a noise gate, either.
