If you want to make the handling even better, put a set of Bilstein shocks on it, and the handling will get even better.

I added the Bilstein shocks about two years ago, and I can now drive through high winds that small import cars have trouble driving in. My RV is 23 feet long, and here in Idaho we get some very high winds. Have a great day Justin. Keep on rockin in the free world. (or what's left of it)

I drove every vehicle known to man! I even got my CDL and later years became the only female limo driver around. I DID have to drive a dualie truck and I recall it was a dream and easier handling. I did have a little trouble coz I’m little and couldn’t reach the pedals (😂) without my purse and jacket behind me😂😂😂. I never forgot that. My son wants one (truck) so imma talk dualies to him now. LOL .. I loved your "Vomit" episode! That was great! I think maybe some comments about less traction with a dully might come from someone who is running a pickup with no weight in the back. I have a Dodge 4 x 4 - 1 ton flat bed .. it's really a beast .. used it to pull new RVs all over the US. It was terrible without 4x4 engaged in wet ground .. compared to my Dodge 3/4 ton which is also 4x4. Sometimes I have used my 1 ton (4x4 engaged) to pull a steep grade with a 14 ft. dump bed full of logs up a driveway to a friend's sawmill and it wasn't an easy pull. The 3/4 ton with 4x4 engaged would pull the hill in granny gear .. same trailer and load .. with no problem. The 3/4 is lower geared than the 1 ton. I have often wondered where I might get adaptors to make a 3/4 into a dully .. so when I am pulling a long camper bumper pull .. it does less road sway .. and handles more like the 1 ton on highway travel. Enjoyed the video .. been watching your stuff for a while .. from southwestern Arkansas! 🙂

The problem of course with the North America vans is the very poor build quality of them. It seems you are lucky to get 100,000 miles out of a transmission and very lucky to get 150,000 miles out of the engine. Whereas the Mercedes Sprinter easily goes 400,000 miles, (not kilometres). A broken transmission is virtually unknown in European or Japanese vehicles. Unfortunately you are just too used to junk vehicles in North America that you think a dually will actually make a junk van somehow a good buy.
@JCredTV9 ай бұрын
Quite the opposite in the real world. No shortage of people complaining about expensive and complicated Sprinter breakdowns, expensive parts, and most places won't work on them. On the other hand, I can get almost anything for my Dodge off the shelf ANYWHERE for cheap and every single mom and pop auto shop or backyard mechanic can easily work on it. A transmission rebuild is very affordable and easily done, too. Less tech always equals less problems! On a side note, just this morning an owner of a brand new 2024 Sprinter van literally just posted on a vanlife group that her van went into limp mode on her very first trip! She's now having it towed to a specialized Mercedes service centre (which is ridiculous, that should never be necessary. You should not have to bring your vehicle to a special place, ANY repair shop should be able to do basic repairs and maintenance on any brand). More tech = MORE PROBLEMS!

I also don't have to worry about all the electronic everything on all the new vans crapping out on me.
