In London you maybe have a piece of an old Roman Wall left because of a government rule and that's all that's left of the old London. That's not comparable to somehting like Rome or Florence or even Paris.

I lived in London as a French guy…problem with the city is too many people, most not British, and the mentality is soulless, everyone just goes to work and grinds without any other social goal. Rents are insane too, you easily spend half your salary on rent or more if you want to live well. It’s a great city if you make it in the high level industries.
