I think a big issue is that every character plays the same and all u do is press mouse 1 in combat, I think they could have done a lot more with the combat, flashiness will wear off fast

Did you even play the game? There's hold + click , double dash + click , hold E or even spaming E, parry switch combos and many more. Seems you didn't get past tutorial stages sadly.
