As an Alliance Delta 262rb owner…if I were you ‘d ignore this guy and NOT BUY A DELTA!!! I bought the first 262rb sold in Missouri from Blue Compass near Springfield. Every new trailer will have issues. But the Delta exceeded every tailer I’ve ever owned! They had to remove our slide front, cut off 3/4” on bolts sides because it hit the Gateway router; shower door leaks gallons on the floor; our theatre seats had to be replaced combination of bad installation and defective hardware; first time we made the bed we found a wood screw sticking out of the bed surface which destroyed the mattress by ripping it open; the underbelly wasn’t a single run, with wwiiidee gap leaving the coach open to water; ladder had missing mounting screws, ripped out threads, and not caulked; caulk on roof around vents wasn’t completely covering the joints. Alliance did a horrible job designing and building it. Stay away. Alliance uses the cheapest, crappiest components. Bad company!!! There’s more, but why bother?
@mikeygee24654 ай бұрын
But it sounds like Alliance fixed everything? Most reviews of this magnitude have taken months to fix by other companies.

I think you should upgrade your truck to a 2500 series if you get this specific trailer. You are correct about the payload capacity. You will be pushing it. Maybe looking at a 27 to 28 foot trailer instead. It would shave off a little bit of weight.
@mylesrv9 ай бұрын
Upgrading the truck isn’t an option right now so weight of the RV and where I plan to take it definitely comes into consideration heavily.

I’ve been looking at a lot of RV’s with the same idea, going tiny I wreckin. I think this layout is probably the best I’ve seen. I think this would be the one I’d pick for myself. The LR,DR,Kitchen layout offers a “Greatroom” design if ya will. Seems perty spacious to me. Then of course the separate bedroom space with its own AC system is key. I can’t sleep hot either, has to be cool for sleep!!! I would love to speak to those that have already purchase this model to get the skinny or Pro’s n Cons…

This RV is very close to what I'd be looking for personally cuz I want something light enough that an F-250 would be more than enough for it however if I could find something that was closer to this and an F-150 could pull it that would be dope however I think the biggest drawback to this is the bathroom as I could not see living in this with a partner. I feel like you do some of the best tours in the game but one thing I would ask for you to try to do more often is tell people what negatives to look out for and identify those negatives as you're going through it because I've seen some other people talk about like the difference between lumber core and various other types of wood. What type of slide system they have and what the pros are cons are of the slide system.
@mylesrv9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the input. I do try to do that occasionally in videos, then I get the opposite response of “you yap too much, just get to showing the RV and stop talking so much” so it seems I can never win lol

Hello, also looking to get this RV. I have a 2023 Ford f150 Lariat., 5.0L engine and 3.73 diff. Max Payload is 1496 lbs on this truck. If I use the tongue weight published by Alliance (which is probably under estimated) and add propane weight plus battery weight, my trucks payload capacity becomes 20 lbs shy of the trucks capacity. No food, no closes and no gear in the RV. This is definitely a 3/4 ton truck RV. Don't be fooled… I have to upgrade my truck to a f250. This error is costing me a lot of $$$.

I think it’s a nice trailer and I can see why it’s one of your contenders. Great counter space and lots of food storage. What would bother me over time, is that the big windows are on the non-camping side of the trailer. Also, keep in mind, a smaller trailer would allow you to find more camping spots, especially in state parks. I hope you are considering a small 5th wheel, since towing is much easier.

It’s to bad you don’t have a 3/4 ton or 1 ton diesel you could get what you want and tow it with ease and get far better fuel mileage. Yes your oil changes are more but well worth it. The longer your in a smaller camper the smaller it gets and you will notice how cheaply it is really made. I personally am noticing remolded campers are really catching my eye now. This all looks nice cause it’s new the first rainstorm you get you’ll get floods all over the place so even though you think the cabinets are nice and the lights are nice. You don’t have to think that’s going on with the building of this RV. Everything is done shotty work Break by you displaying you make it sound so wonderful but you don’t really know what’s going on with these RVs listen to the people talking about them spend $200,000 and they woke up one night sleeping soaking wet because it rained on them so before you start talking about RV first learn about them you don’t know the first thing about RV. All you know about is you showing the beautiful cabinets and the lights and the TV and the heater, but everything else don’t work

Right… I haven’t been RV camping for the past 15 years or anything 😂 all I know is cabinets and lights. You’re funny! I’m sorry but the whole goal of me doing this is I want to see, experience, and share with everyone what RVing can be like for someone in their 20s. Most people in their 20s don’t have a 1 ton truck or even a 3/4 ton truck, but they more likely have a half ton or something like a Tacoma and I want to show the realities of RVing with those options, even if it does go bad. That’s the experience I want to show 👍

Also, your brother is NOT going to want to sleep on that dinette. Also, no way I would get this because I couldn’t get to the bathroom in the gas station. I do not like gas station bathrooms; I would much rather use my own facilities.
@mylesrv9 ай бұрын
You’re wrong on that one. We are pretty simple humans and can make comfort sacrifices for life experiences. People used to travel this entire country on horseback and buggy sleeping in a wagon or on the ground. This is a pretty significant improvement from that! And if I do this, I will look for every opportunity possible to use a public restroom as to not take up tank storage in the RV.
