I'm a lifelong Man City fan!! In my honest opinion I don't believe that Pep Guardiola, Arsene Wenger, or Sir Alex Ferguson's achievements are anywhere near Brian Clough's who led Derby County from the foot of the 2nd tier to win the equivalent of the Premier League now and won back to back European Cups with Nottingham Forest !! I love Pep, I appreciate everything he's done for us and I hope he stays for life, I reluctantly acknowledge Sir Alex Ferguson's achievements at United too as I do Mourinho's achievements, Ancelotti's, Wenger's, Sir Alf Ramsay's, Joe Mercer's and Sir Matt Busby's and Sir Bobby Robson's but none of them in my opinion compare to what Brian Clough achieved !!! Long story short , I'm 51 years of age today and I've been a City fan from day one and never in my wildest dreams about City back then in the times we use to struggle as a club fighting relegation battles or even worse still just to survive as a club because back then in the 80's-90's they were really hard times for us but still i would have these dreams about us beating united and sometimes i would dream about us just winning a Cup no matter what Cup it was just to have a Cup what we can say we've won or beating united once a season was the things of my best dreams and they were the things i could only dream about for City but every now and a gain or if i may say once in a BLUE MOON a dream would come true 💙 to beat united and even though it only happened once or twice in all those years as a City fan it was worth the wait because as a City fan they are up there with the best days of our lives it's something we never forget as City fans 💙 and we will always appreciate 💙 and respect the manager, players, chairman and everyone else 💙 to do with the club who made it 💙 happen for us to beat united and like i said earlier it was the things i use to only dream about for City back then and as a fan to be honest 💙 i really never thought I'd see us win a domestic Cup 🏆 and ✨️ so for us to have a manager like Pep Guardiola is something else 🏆 because me as a City fan and i think i can speak for every other City fan as well when it comes to a man like Pep Guardiola being the man that he is the best of the best in the history of football and this is no disrespect to any of the other managers be it past or present because there has been some great great managers in the game of football who i respect to the fullest no matter what team they managed wh when it comes to the greats u can't take nothing aw away from the greats you've just gotta appreciate and respect that they are one of the greats but Pep Guardiola is not just one of the greats Pep Guardiola is the greatest football manager of them all and this to me as a City fan for his football knowledge on and off the pitch from the way he's made Manchester City Fc play the game and also think about the game is just incredible and that to me and it should be to every other City fan better and bigger than any amount of Cups we could ever win Cups are won once a season whereas Pep has installed a football knowledge in Manchester City Fc which is WINNERS 4 LIFE We will be forever winners and it doesn't get any bigger than that so thank you Pep for staying with us again and for waking the sleeping giant of { MCFC } UP ✌️ ..

The fact this man has stayed for as long as he has shows just how special and well run our club is. Once he finished with Barca he had to go on a sabbatical due to the high stress levels of dealing with a giant in world football. We are now up there as a giant in world football yet the feeling around the club is happiness instead stressful pressure. Understandably there's a lot of pressure running a club like this at this level but it seems khaldoon & co create a relaxed environment to keep people happy and excited to come to work which in turn will boost productivity only if all jobs made you feel like this.

I am extremely elated extremely thankful and grateful and appreciative to pep guardiola for signing a new contract even if it is only for 2 years. I know he said he did not want to be like Sir Alex Ferguson with Manchester United. But honestly I hope he is like that close to however long it was Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge of Man United. I think if pep guardiola were to leave Manchester City even if all the players stayed that are there right now in this season or this off season I do believe Manchester City would not be the great the best the top club for the world! And I don't care if they never win any other title ever again as club and manager and players.
