This foundation caught my eye for multiple reasons when I walked past the makeup aisle at Target the other day, so even though it's far from targeted towards my oily skin I decided to give it a go! Let's see how it performed over a week of wear... Σ(･o･;)

GUYS, I've bought the same foundation forever - Too Faced Born This Way. After seeing this and how nice Cassie's skin looked I bought it in the shade Nude. I have OILY skin with some dry patches and wow WOW... I set with a light dusting of Laura Mercier powder and it's amazing. My pores are reduced, soft effect, nice coverage, natural and pretty! Yay this is my regular foundation and I love it. It is a pretty light coverage but it just improves the look of my skin and looks dewy and very much like skin. I don't even set it. I really love it! I haven't tried many foundations though to compare but at the moment it's my fave. It looked so good on you. Even though the coverage is light, your skin looked so healthy and lovely!!

Dry and aging skin gal here: I have this and was really worried about it showing texture or highlighting pores but I love this foundation, and I'm picky AF. I had the same result as you, it goes on smooth, feels light, looks fresh and stays pretty well. True, it's not full coverage, but that's not my preference anyway so I'm very happy with it. You're right though, the shade range is laughable. Hugs from up north!

Well that is the best shade match I've seen in a long time on anyone! Edit: I have combo/oily skin and don't like liquid foundation and am thinking about switching completely to mineral powder foundation then a video like this makes me wanna try another liquid foundation! 🙃 We're probably the same shade too!

I feel you on trying foundations for dry skin on oily skin. One of my favourites in the Revlon Colourstay Normal / Dry formula and I have oily skin. I can’t stand the combination / oily formula of that same foundation! It’s so bad!

Hi Cassie!! Maybe it's me but it almost seemed like the foundation worked better on the first day without all the primers. It stayed put longer and you said there wasn't much transfer... maybe the combo with the primers makes it susceptible to lifting off much faster. 🤔

That foundation looks great! Goes to show that you can never tell by the description if it will work for you or not. I had a similar experience with the Guerlain L’Essentiel foundation, which is now my favorite foundation even for my oily skin.

I’ve found that sometimes a foundation targeted for dry skin also works for combination/oily skin. It’s probably because oily skin is dehydrated. I personally think you have combo skin: normal on the perimeter of your face & oily in the center. Either way the transfer proof this foundation is great to see! For mask wearing that’s definitelya pro. BTW, I saw a hack that I haven’t tested yet, but seems very logical. The hack is to spray the inside of the mask with a setting spray. I noticed that you don’t have a setting spray in your list of other products. A setting spray is key to making makeup last. Finding the right one can be a challenge. I have the same skin type as you. My favorites are: 1. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray in the Oil Slick formula. 2. Morphe Continuous Setting in Spray & the Matte version. 3. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray. This is a new one but nothing budges with this spray. I would love to see a video of you using various setting sprays to test for us oily/combo skin types!

I do believe you've helped me choose which foundation I'll be wearing on Monday! This foundation is about a year and a half old by now. It looks TERRIFIC on you! For my skintone I had no choice but to choose mocha (which is a tad TOO dark and a little too red) but mixing this with other lighter foundations, I do get it to work. Have you tried foundation mixers? They have shades that can alter the tone and should be able to counteract the red tone with the right one. I know la girl has some im not sure about other companies. I have used their white mixer and it worked fine so I would think the other colors would be too.

Just tried this foundation and LOVE it! As for the color, I found a perfect match and that hasn't happened in 10 years of searching for a liquid foundation! I've alway felt like I must be a really strange color. Even in my videos you can tell the color never looks quite right and always different. I must be a lighter olive color because their "natural beige" which has a bit of a green cast to it, is absolutely perfect. Also, have you notice how silky it feels if you run your finger across it, even hours later? Thanks so much for this review!!!!

Great to see you back with another video, Cassie! I hope that you are on the mend and that you have managed to get access to your meds again (and not at a crazy price point)! I'm not a foundation wearer myself, but I love watching your reviews of them regardless. I mean, I'm not really in the market for new makeup at the minute, AND YET I will watch all of the new reviews :P I think it's good that you don't limit yourself by the skin type for foundations, and whatnot - not all products designed for certain skin types will work for everyone with that skin type, and this is a classic example of that. If it works for you (especially if it is drugstore) - who cares whether it was designed for your skin type!! (Also, I feel like, in 2020, companies really should be recognising greater diversity in their shade ranges. Come onnnnn, Maybelline!)
