I think a lot of people are in the same boat. The figure is very obvious, but the portal is not as much. But if you look at the old boxes it clearly states that it contains a Glow-in-the-Dark figure and portal.

Hey man. It's me. It's the guy that had the messed up xbox one Skylander's Imaginators disc. It decided It just wanted to work. It might have something to do with me recently buying Ultimate. My Fallout 4 disc Used to also messed up to the point where it would crash a lot. Until I got ultimate, Then I re downloaded it and it worked perfectly fine. Couldn't do that with the imaginators can because you can't download a digital copy. But for some reason, It decided to slowly download itself. It was a lot of on and off. But one night I left it on 70%. It wasn't downloading. I downloaded a few extra games. I come back. And Skylander's imaginators was not in my queue anymore. :D

I found 70 of these figures today at a thrift shop. They’re all Activision 2012, 13, or 14. I know nothing about them. What do they do? On eBay someone wrote “tested and working,” but they just look like standing figures to me. Help me understand! Thanks!

Skylanders is a video game series that ran from 2011-2017. In addition to the game itself, you need a USB Portal that would plug into your game console and some of these figures. The figures have NFC chips inside them. When you place one of these figures on the portal, you are able to play as that character in the game.

how can you tell what figures are worth picking up? Not familiar with skylanders but I ended up picking up a small bag at a thrift store for like $4 maybe about like 15-20 of them.

The knowledge comes from 12+ years of covering Skylanders and 3 years of buying and selling Skylanders. But if you got 15 figures for $4, that's a steal even if they are super common figures. It's all part of The Great Experiment, but there's also a few other factors in play. 1) The items shown in this video are far fewer than the average shop update we had in the past. 2) Since we've moved the shop to a new platform we haven't fully stress-tested it, but early indications seem to show that it can handle higher capacity better. 3) Unless you watch to the very end of the video (which the majority of folks don't do) you wouldn't even get the announcement that new figures are available unlike the old shop update videos which told you in the title and the first 5 seconds of the video.

Yes, we do ship to Finland. International shipping is certainly expensive, but I do everything I can to keep it as cheap as possible. It's all based on weight, so it depends what you order. Generally, you can get the best rates if the package weight is under 4 pounds. Above that the shipping cost really jump up, but I've still had some folks pay those prices. Either way, you'll be able to view the total at the checkout before you submit your order so you can make the decision for yourself.

They've been in demand for years. Due to Microsoft's restrictions on peripherals, the Xbox One portal is required to play on the Xbox One or Series X. Back in 2013-2016 the Xbox One was much newer and they didn't produce as many portals. So now we're in a case of low supply and high demand. The Xbox One Trap Team Portal regularly sells for more than $50
