Happy Thanksgiving to all the Doss families.. It’s good that you update the new viewer and remind the older ones how you started your channel .. I started watching Chad when Adler was just not quite 2.. he was about 20 months.. I was so impressed with his intelligence and vocabulary for someone so young.. I do believe it’s because he wasn’t talked baby talk by family.. Chad talked to him like he would a much older child..Chad’s done a great job with the boys.. Grandpa, it’s typical of old biddy’s to get crossways.. even us ladies do, we just typically don’t have a hair pulling match.. though, sometimes it’s tempting.. 😂The people that wonder why the dogs don’t go in where it’s warm, should try living in a warm house while wearing a fur coat!

If they’re trained to drop whatever they have on command and not run and play keep away, it could save their life.

Matt, I'm sorry you hurt your back. It's great, though, that you've learned a trick for making it feel better. I watch "Sheepishly Me," w/a Canadian Sheep Farmer, Sandi Brock. They celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of Oct. Her husband grows various crops, some to feed the sheep & the rest for sale or replanting the following yr. Since they're still in the middle of harvest when their holiday comes, they don't really get to celebrate w/their families. Sandi's said that our Thanksgiving is at the perfect time. Harvest is done & her Sheep haven't started lambing yet. If they WERE celebrating w/us it WOULD be exactly the right time again. They've finished harvest & are out of the fields & they have time to relax in the cabin they built. I had a goat, don't know the kind. She was an adult who had already had at least one kid when I got her. Her name was Snowball. Already named when I got her. She also had an Igloo doghouse. She loved to perch on the top and watch traffic going up and down the road, Welcome Road, as long as she was not hungry. Loved to eat the vegetation and her grain and hay. My daughter and I fostered rescue animals and one day our neighbor came down when he heard her bleating. The pit bull that we were fostering got out of the pen and attacked her. We were in our house and didn't hear her, but the neighbor was outside his house and did. The pit bull tore Snowball's face up. I called the vet who put me in touch with a vet goat specialist about 150+ miles from us and I called her. She said to put the pit bull down and go get some penicillin and Pedialite and a huge syringe. She told me exactly what to do. I put the goat in the laundry room in a dog crate and treated her until she got well and could eat again. Neighbor took care of the pit and buried him in the Pet Cemetery on our second acre. The vet said that once they taste blood, it is necessary to put a pit down. He had actually penned my daughter and I in the dog pen, so it was necessary to put him down. I came home one day, and my daughter had sold my goat for half the price I had paid for her! I really missed her and still do! I could look out my kitchen window and watch her on top of the Igloo watching traffic. How she balanced up there is unbelievable. Had her 4 feet together in a small spot!

Hello to the chicky chicks.. the puppie kiddos.. Bella and Olivia and Lola. And the sweet goats. (and the kitties and Grandma, but we didn't see them). Pdub and Fox say they're so sweet and made of sugar, that they may melt in the rain. Olivia and Bella sounded like they oinked 'Thank You' in response to Matt's compliment. Get well with your back, Matt. I know all too well about back pain. (except mine is always lower back tail-bone when my hip gets out of alignment). Heat or Cold helps! Rev you funny pup. You (and Reilly) are too early to be running around. It's better to get excercise a day after the feast! 😄 You all have a great Thanksgiving!
