The Pyrex coffee pot reminds me of my great aunt. she had tea brewing on the stove in one all day. By early afternoon it was black. .. And we all still drank it!

Those oil paintings with artists name was right down my alley. Thrift store squats, or squats of “any” kind kill me. I really liked that little thrift store. Very nicely displayed. Kudos to them. Nice prices too! Hopefully the next stop is as good. I’ll be watchingl. 👀🤓

I use decanters for table water . When I do dinner parties or high teas. I always get compliments on how beautiful it looks. Just another idea for beautiful old glass decanters. Loved today's treasure's

@@Leslie-wb8cb no not at all. I usually soak them in baking soda and vinegar for about a day Then rinse them well, fill with water and refrigerate. 🤗

Hello, and yes banana goes very well with cheese, mostly blue cheese. There is science behind this - scientific pairing. And as a chef and culinary educator, I have many times offered cocktail amuse bouches made with blue cheese and banana... You need to give it a try! You are going to be amazed.

Ok, how many of us now have to go try bananas and cheese?? ;) I Love bananas w/ cottage cheese... and w/ cream cheese sounds good.... never thought of trying other cheeses w/ bananas.... one of our local stores sells a specailty cheese that has strawberries in it, I bet that would be good w/ bananas... next time I go there I'll hafta get some to try w/ bananas! ;) Good Luck/ prayers for the move!

I collect them. I have 45 of them. That are all not miniature. The other ones the tea pot is no more than 8” tall. They have to have the lids for the teapot and the sugar bowl. No chips or breaks in them. The even amount of cups and saucers. I would appreciate it so much.
