What most of youtubers don't talk about and where most people fail is the fact that showcasing your product (ie making a good video about it) IS THE heavy lifting. Presenting your product is the only thing about ecommerce that is actually challenging, it's like trying to go viral with a video on youtube, it's just as hard. I'm not trying to demotivate anybody, I'm just saying that this is what you should be aware of:)

TikTok shop might not be your move then (if that’s your target buyer). I’d just do a normal TikTok page with a bio link and run TikTok ads to your products within those countries

So yeah you're approved for that product to sell or be an affiliate for. If you're trying to dropship products on tiktok shop it's a different approach than if you're trying to be an affiliate. As an affiliate you should reach out to companies/pages and ask if they offer free samples so you can make videos to promote them to your audience. Some products even have a "request free sample" button you can hit. When you're brand new you can also get 2 free products off shop (most people can not all) and you can start with those. Or worst case scenario you can order the products you add to your showcase off amazon (if you can find them - often you can) and make tons of videos promoting them and linking them...then just return the product within 30 days to amazon. Hope that helps!

@@rebecca2611 yeah some of them want to talk via email and some want to talk via whatsapp (instead of the tiktok app). If you're not comforable with that then just avoid those products/brands

Leverage credit cards if you need to in the beginning (assuming you're responsible). Or put your products out of stock if you need to until you recoup your ROI and then put them back in stock. As you sell, the payouts get faster.

Tiktok collects and remits it for you. Then sends you the tax form at the end of the year.

I doubt reaching out to the sellers on Amazon will yield results. Might just be those specific categories. I’ve heard it happens with electronics and baby supplies a lot. You could reach out the the manufacturer (I’ve heard other people say they’ll give them to you)…or you could just move on to another product/category that doesn’t require them. Hope that helps!
