I CRASHED My NEW Boat?!?

I CRASHED My NEW Boat this weekend, but luckily did not sustain any damage.. if you are new to fishing in a boat, and on big water make sure you're always aware of your surroundings.. This could have been a whole lot worse for me, but I got lucky!

Next time you fish for smallmouth try a inline spinnerbait or a tube bait craws work too but try a spinnerbait or a tube bait

Man I love this. Right handed reels, left handed too (don't you liker reeling left handed better?) I mean,then you don't switch hands around to cast. Some bad camera angles, shitty fish, and backlashes. I mean,it's not the typical fishing video. You're real,like we are. And in doing so,every once in awhile,you'll make a friend and get great advice. Just like we do. Thanks again homie,and never let the fact you're filming change the way you do you. I hate that a lot of channels only show these amazing fish catches. Don’t get me wrong I love seeing big fish, but there is something relatable with REAL fishing. The struggle, the heartache, it just feels real. Also it doesn’t matter to me left or right. I don’t even notice the switch between hands to be honest.

Yeah I’m solid now. Couple things went sideways in this video. 1. I was too close, no question. 2. My dang trolling motor was coming out of the water which didn’t help matters at all.

I have an old 99 Tracker pro guide deep v with a 45 inch trolling motor shaft, and it is not the best in any water with chop. And it's only held on by 2 screws, but at least I can still fish.

Man sorry the day wasn’t better for you. Me and bayboy fish skiatook a lot and have never had people be rude to us. The last 2 months that lake has been packed everyday to what it ust to be. The covid has brought everyone out unfortunately even the a-holes. I know lot the spots you was and those can produce big smallies. I have the same trolling motor you have I’ve learned how to make it work for now and I can afford to upgrade to something with spot lock. Man hang in there don’t give up on skiatook it’s a great fishing lake it’s either on or off though. Every lakes a learning exsperance and you will get more comfortable on big bodies of water. What happened for me. Only advice I give you watch ur graphs lol some places there 30-40 deep and still trees stickup all over the place out of the water.

Something to think about. When I fish alone I always keep a life jacket on the back deck of the boat and on me when traveling on plane. It’s hard to get back in if you hit a rock or sandbar and it kicks you out. Especially if you hit a rock or log with your body when you fall in

Hate to see you had a rough day. I somewhat understand. I’ve been wanting to get some content going, but I’m fishing for 6hrs, going through all my GoPro batteries and catch 1 fish. And on that 1 fish I forgot to set the drag on a new reel, so I started cussing lol. Don’t want that in a video.
