Rusty should have gotten that buckler parry question point. He definitely was thinking in terms of 60fps. And the buckler in Dark souls 3 only is shown as having 10 parry frames, because it's tested on 60fps! Buckler parry from ER and Ds3 buckler parry have the same parry frames.

And him being Ranni's and Radahn's brother doesn't matters shit in this situation. Just because his siblings have red hair, doesn't guarantees he himself is a ginger. If you want an in-game example, Malenia is a redhead, whereas her full-blooded brother Miquella is blonde.

think the main issue with the cat and stick figure photo is people tend to take things at face value.
