Glad my video tutorial could help 😄It's definitely a fun little glitch. There's also a way you can control Cuphead and Mugman with the same controller/keyboard, but it involves some software tomfoolery. I've since stopped playing Cuphead, but I do know it is still possible on the current version. Shoutouts to GioTGM as well! He's taken over the legacy of the Mugman Army, and he knows all the latest tips and tricks 😃

0:56 It is possible to do it on the Current Patch of the game, only on PC to my knowledge. (Which you now have to wait for the join card/screen to go away and rinse and repeat) And the way I do it is mash more than 2 buttons on player 2's controller to make the instant rejoin more efficient.

You can only do it on legacy mode so you have to be playing on pc and connect a controller

Oh nice I remember this glitch was pretty popular. U remember like 2 years ago tho when my brother and I were playing cuphead together we found out that if one of us completely dies and their ghost flies away you can go into menu kick player 2 and have them join back and they spawn back in with 1 life but it only works on player 2. And so no matter what health player 1 is at you can keep on doing this whenever player 2 dies in a boss fight or run and gun level. It’s not so crazy cause it’s specific but if you really can’t beat something and don’t wanna restart it’s like a quick menu thing to gain a second chance or whatever chance your on

There’s another funny glitch in cuphead, It’s called the infinite mugman glitch, Once player 2 (mugman) Has died and is out of the screen, Go to the menu and press “remove player 2” Once he is removed, Player 2 will join back in the game on 1 hp, this happens infinitely as long as player 1 is still alive.
