I Created A Pixel Art Game In 7 Days - Dev Log - Brackey's Game Jam 2024.2

For Brackey's Game Jam 2024.2, I made a pixel art game where you have to save a bunch of corgi dogs from a terrible storm. Armed only with your trusty leaf blower, you must battle tornado monsters to save the day!
This game was made in Godot 4.3 with pixel art animation done in Aseprite.

Thank you so much! I'm considering making a bit of a mini game out of it. I'd like to do a few opening cut scenes, and maybe 4 or 5 levels. I don't think I'd do a full game with tons of levels, but maybe it'll be something that will have some replay-ability, where people try to get a high score, or 100% all the levels.

Thank you! I'm glad people are responding positively to the style. I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked to designing everything, but I'm happy with how things turned out.

What software did you use for making music?

I'm using Cubase Elements 13 and then I believe all the instruments I ended up using came from the BBC Symphony Orchestra Discovery pack.

Haha! I almost had a purple monster in this game. Maybe I can make the purple version of the main character an optional player customization.
