What are the Culture's of the Haesteinn's? Are they, are they "Lore" Accurate; specific to the Haesteinn? You needed to not Varangrian Adventure for Cagliari. You should've Varagian Adventured for Mon. And sought to create the Empire Title "High King in the North". You would be able to create an "Asatru-Frankish-Mon(ish?) Culture". Diverged from Norse, including Beaurecratic Ethos, Warlike Kingdom, Chivalry, Chanson de Geste, Coastal Warriors, By the Sword, Frequent Festivities, Malleable Invaders, and Seafarers; reform that Renaissance Era Norsish Culture (Haesteinnin Culture) with relevant Men-At-Arms Unique Units. And Hybridize THAT Culture worldwide. And conquering subsequent Haesteings becomes much more manageable. With a reformed Asatru Religion. Making the religious tenets: Aniconism, Communion, War Monger, Lay Clergy, Legalize almost all crime excluding Murder, Celebrated Witchcraft, and Equal Genders. We "lose" the "blot". But gain the Witches Commune Decision boosters.

Sorry I didn't mean to critique your Claim to definitive Haesteings. I don't know how the other Haesteings are going to set about becoming a Saint. But Montaigue Haesteings. Who actually stays in Montaigue until they Diverge Norse to "Asatru-Frankish-Mon(ish?)". Will have the superior Culture. And the Superior Men-At-Arms. But it will require a Haesteings to Varangian Adventure to obtain the High Kingdom of the North. Instead of Rome (Latium x Byzantium).

Besacuse the event come up when your health got to low. But if you remove negative modifiers, like bad omen, or add good modifiers, you can life a little while longer. Usually this happens when your doctor heals you from a combat wound.
