Who else has a love/hate relationship w/ Ark? Just yesterday, my friend and I were riding our basilisk's and when we dismounted, we fell through the world and lost everything, thank god it was non-dedicated so we can use commands to get everything back, but if we were on official servers, I would've just left the server altogether.

Non dedicated is prone to weird bugs like these, I think it's something screwing with host tethering and it's coding. I run an unofficial dedicated server through ARK server manager and never have hardly any major or minor issues. On a non dedicated a few months back, riding raptors in the water on the Island made them go to Mach-10 speeds and jet into the sky after hitting a slope. Followed by falling through the world, or getting deleted by the skybox.

I built my first ever base on Genesis in the bog, on the edge of the map near the hop, skip, and a jump away mission. I've since then moved into the small lunar cave at lunar east, and I have a base in I believe "Paradise Lost" in the ocean, connected to my other bases by a teleporter pad. I also set up one teleporter inside the volcano for element.

Sounds are one of the only 3 creatures I ever bred for full color mutations (other two are Rex and shine horn). I got aberrant ones, and the colors I used were a dark purple body, with a magenta accent that creates a really nice gradient, then a deep blue stomach area that created a nice contrast or a red to fit the gradient (I used the blue-stomach ones as aquatic ones and ones meant for riding and the red stomach for pure health/melee boss spinos). I like the dark colors with the bright contrast, but I think you should do more color-gradient mutations using yellow/orange/red, blue/cyan/green, or purple/magenta/red (sorta like what you did with the body and the sail on these spinos)

Syntac I have been using this trick for a while and I watched one of your velo taming vids, like if u want him to see If you take 4 stone window frames and a roof, make a box then lay down in the box after attracting the velo you can shoot it until it gets knocked HOWEVER it can hit you if it gets to the right spot but it almost never happens, and sometimes the dart won't hit for him reg reasons but it is super helpful.

Spino fan boy here since my introduction in jurassic Park. I love the colours of your x spino. Things and absolute beast aswell. I'm currently breeding spinos tryna creat my very own. I've got one line to make my own unique spino and I've got another breading line with spino with same coloured parts as yours here. I started with a spino with the cyan sail and one with yellow spots. I've got the yellow spots onto the cyan sail now tryna find one with a cyan under belly and one with the cyan marking. I'll be posting a video of my absolute beast of a spino ans would go crazy if you would check it out and let me know what you think of her EDIT: If I get a spino like this his name shall be syntac💯

the "roar" just shows there is no water. in order to give a boost you have to play the drums on the back of the saddle

The roar literally does a damage debuff to enemies. They get a wierd red sparkle above them when it comes into effect.

If you are NOT on official and your dinos will not be wiped by exceeding 450, what is the advantage of having nothing in speed. Whilest speed does not benefit the raw stat of speed, will it not benefit the base level of the dinosaur and thus in turn cause slightly more stats gained per level up? @@thibovanhoutte6 You need ti get two identical breeding rexes that are the exact same level, with exact same stats, otherwise you could get a mutation of a melee stat that is actually worse than another you have, or something like that. Best scenario is to get twins, male and female, and breed them to get more females, until you get a desired mutation, then breed whatever mutation it is into your creatures (however you will want your original breeding batch to properly stack mutations) If this confused you, watch Syntac's mutation vids, they explain a lot better.

Early game, a raptor is pretty good. I know you get the raptor saddle pretty early. If you're settled in the game, try going for Deinonychus eggs on Valguero. Just check how super OP Syntac's ones are. When I started out, I went raptor, carno, allo, Rex, giga. In that order
