I think my favorite part is Gowasu is FINALLY smiling. Like a genuine smile. Basically by 17 making that wish, everything that Zamasu has been preaching in the previous arc has been completely proven wrong. A mortal with the sole purpose initially of killing Goku, and entering the tournament just initially wanting a cruise ship, makes the most selfless wish in all of the series, to bring back every erased universe.

She had worked on the arc as assistant series director, and she was given the opportunity to close out the series. She worked down the wire up until the week the episode aired. Couple of fun facts: 1. Even outside of the 2 Super movies(Broly and Super Hero), the story has continued for 2 more arcs in the manga and is beginning a new arc that takes place after Super Hero. It's going to be very interesting to see where the story goes, as the timeline has nearly reached the point where Goku & friends meet Uub at the tournament during End of Z. 2. The reason why they ran everyone's return to Universe 7 during the credits is a bit of a sad one. Bulma's Japanese VA, Hiromi Tsuru, died during the Tournament of Power, and Toei decided to honor her by not recasting until the Broly movie. This allowed her final line as Bulma to be her wishing everyone else "good luck" when they left for the ToP. I forget which episode of DBZA it is, but they put in a tribute to her in their first video after her passing. 3. You _need_ to watch the Latin American crowd reactions to these last episodes. Shit was wild, to the point that the music producer for the Broly movie said it inspired the direction he took.

It has hilarious/exciting moments as well as serious/sad moments, fewer beam clashes and more martial-arts focused fights, and we get to see Goku's character growth of not just strength, but personal growth too. I did however watched it AFTER DBZ, but it just made the world of DB even better. It's just a great show in general. Yeah I agree the show definitly needs a remake, or a kai remake at least.

Toyotarou likely has manuscripts and ideas from Toriyama for the next few arcs for the actual finale of the series. So we definitely have still some content coming in the future for us.

I know that this has been said multiple times, but I like how Jiren says Universe 7's secret weapon is 'The power of trust' when its Goku and Frieza, who legit punched each other in the gut (I think.) The second Baba got Frieza out of Hell. (I know there's several more moments across Dragon Ball of Goku and Frieza being untrustworthy to each other, I just wanted to use this one cause it doesn't get mentioned that often. )

​@@purplecat4582that's something that isn't commonly acknowledged, we didn't trust freeza to not betray us until we saw freeza didnt have an alternative, if he betrayed us he was losing with us. We trusted him to be self serving enough to overlook helping us one time.

I find this absolutely perfect because it really is trust here. See Frieza wasn't trusting Goku or anyone for that matter. Until the point he asked Goku if he really will keep his promise and revive him because thats all frieza wants and needs. Once Goku tells him he knows how Goku works frieza feels good about it and simultaneously sick as he mentions lol but he really does trust him at that point to revive him no matter how much goku hates frieza. Frieza knowing Goku's nature finally trusts Goku to do the right thing for him and at that point he starts to give 100% to make the effort in every wy possible to bring home the victory, hence he make that volleyball jump to take jiren with him out of the tournament. Goku also trusted frieza to do the right thing because he knew he wanted to stay alive. Though its not really a big deal if goku is trusting someone lol either way when jiren says this is their secret power trust. it really was that even though somehow this was literally arch-enemies they trusted each other in that moment. Beautiful writing.

I've been with Jack's Dragon Ball Journey since episode 1 of his Kakarot playthrough. After that he started Hunter X Hunter and One Piece, two of my absolute favorite shows. After he started Abridged I became his patron. And finally reaching the end of Super feels like such a milestone. I hope the Dragon Ball Journey isn't over yet. We still have the Super Broly movie, and while I wouldn't recommend the slog through uncut original Z, because frankly that would be agonizing to Jack compared to Super's pacing. But maybe one day he could start watching original Dragon Ball or maybe Kai, now that it's finally finished, and available on Hulu.
