Monk Gyatso telling Aang he will always be his friend hits even harder when you realize that he was also good friends with Avatar Roku. "Some friendships are so strong, they can even transcend lifetimes." - Avatar Roku to Aang

You don't have to ever feel bad for crying. I'm a 32 year old man, who loves the animated show aswell, it was my childhood and is near and dear to my heart. I cried a lot during the OG show and this show. It's okay to expression emotions with tears

I cried multiple times throughout the 8 episodes. This adaptation captures the deep emotions of the original

I enjoyed your Ahsoka reactions so much, but this particular one is my favourite so far. I love both shows with all my heart and watching your reactions makes me feel understood. So, please, don't worry at all about getting emotional while reacting, because when you do it you look even prettier than you already are and, especially, because not being afraid to express your emotions is a sign of a huge inner strength. Watching your pretty, teary eyes, brought tears of joy to mine as well. Thank you for letting me have a glimpse of such a beautiful, gentle soul ✨🥹🫶

Just started thinking that Air bending could be used to slice someone's neck and head off so fast and clean, but it's only being used by pacifists so it would never happen AND IT'S INVISIBLE! :D

SPOILERS FOR LEGEND OF KORRA In season 3 airbending is used in a lethal way. Also it's theorized that during his last stand Monk Gyatso in the animated series used it to suffocate all the Fire Nation soldiers his body was found with. Either taking the oxygen straight out of their lungs or creating a vacuum bubble killing everyone inside.

This episode was written by the original creators so that's why it's so good! From this point on the show changes quite a lot, and starts taking storylines from multiple episodes and combining them into a single episode, which can feel both good and strange... Not saying it's bad, but it's definitely weird to see certain moments and characters show up in completely different points of the first Book.

I'm with You on the Nostalgic Feel I get when Watching the Live-Action Version of Our Beloved Friends. Only Difference is I was Watching the Animated Series with My Son who was Aang's Age, just a Little Boy back then. I get Emotional too Seeing Apa in Live Action I just want to Give Him a Big Hug so badly. There is No Need to Apologize for the Tears because I'm right there with You, Most of Us are Tearing Up because it's a fond Childhood Memory brought to Life!

Make sure you put the subtitles on, because in the next several episodes, there's at least one point where there are folks talking in the background, and you can't really hear them, but if you have the subtitles on, you can see that they're talking about some of the adventures from the animated series that the gang has, that didn't make it into the live action show. It's so worth it! A complete Easter egg love letter from the makers of the live action to the lovers of the cartoon series..

Also, it's wonderful to cry along with you, I cried so much, especially during the first episode, every time they hit a new emotional moment it got me. Got to say though, it's going to get even more emotional as the season goes on, everybody grows into their roles beautifully, and honestly, I'm just I can't wait for this second season. I'm going to go crazy waiting

I disagree, the animated version have a huge censure problems, some filler episodes and some writing problems very hard to ignore, but despite that still a great and memorable show (specially for a kid show under the standard from USA kids TV) and I believe that The TV Show is more like a template or "Beta" version of a history with a lot of room to improvement.

This live-action version can show what the cartoon could only imply. Things like death and the results of war and trauma.

Yeah this crap again with fake fan reactions This is just same as the movie Didn't give any respect for orginal source material Just ruin everything i loved and cared You reactors just why you don't understand how terrible this is 🙄
@LarissaZeeuwe10 ай бұрын
Idk what this has to do with being a reactor, this is just my opinion and my opinion would have been exactly the same it I wasn't reacting. You're allowed to have your own opinion, but no need to force this opinion on other people. I have some friends who have been diehard ATLA fans since forever and they absolutely love this show. No need to be so hateful.

@@LarissaZeeuweIgnore the idiots. They just want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. They were never going to be happy with anything that isn't a 1:1 shot for shot remake of exactly the original. IMO that's an unreasonable expectation and I really don't see the point of wanting that. Just watch the original if that's what you want. Some people will never be happy and want the whole world to be unhappy like they are.

As a OG Fan, you are as wrong as you could be, the people who want a copy paste of a 20 yr old show in live action are the ones who don't respect the work that was put into this, they had to merge 20 episodes into 8 and combine the storys for them to make sense and they did it perfectly, stop being such a stuckup hater, you sounding like a fake fan yourself!
