The school did nothing just shoved it under the carpet. This song helped me through those times. I am slowly learning that I am enough. I remember 2 years ago listening to this, I was at my lowest, most broken point. I genuinely wanted to die and had a plan, I doubted I'd be alive at my 13th birthday, but I'm here now. I made it, my life isn't perfect, but I have moved forward. Whoever is reading this, you matter, and you'll make it. EDIT: I'm shocked how much this post blew up!! On December 11th 2023 I attempted to take my life, but I woke up, and a few days later talked with and friend and he told me this - "When I think about suicide, I don't think it's selfish or all that bad. It contradicts everything I've ever done. The rationale behind it has its reasons that make sense and that doesn't help with seeing an option to live. Though when I go about things and think about it randomly or whatever, it seems more like an option. When I'm really down it's more of a choice I have to make. I just stall myself out instead of thinking what to do or how to stop it. Because if I do that, I'll be around another day and push through whatever simply because I'm alive and I have to. " and I think that's very true, I choose to live now simply because I'm already here and supposed to. EDIT 2: Yesterday (Jan 13th 2024) I overdosed on an OTC painkiller. It was incredibly painful. I had abdominal pain, and a hot sensation that would come in waves. I don't want to go through that again... please recognize that suicide is pretty much never painless, and YOU CAN get through things. Weather your issues are family related, abuse, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, you name it, there is hope for you.

Idk I feel like I for ever have something to prove to me and to society. I was convicted of a Sex offense for downloading CP 10 years ago at the age of 18. I did my time, I went through therapy and have been rehabilitated. But yet I feel like society won't give me a chance to prove my self. I am looked at for what I have done not who I am. i'm going through alot of depression right now, and all i do is worry about who i am, and i worry about tommrrow, and focusing on the days that just feel the same. when i listened to this song, it gave me my hope back, and it helped me realized that i am already enough, and that life is a gift, and life should be cherished, and full of gratitude, anyone that reads this, i hope you get your hope back, and know that you are enough, you are loved, and live your life that feels right to you, you are loved

@@jasongodfrey4114 you know, I just think that we all have different lessons we're here to learn and for some of us that may mean we don't get to have certain things. Family we can count on and have Thanksgiving dinners with etc... it is what it is. That doesn't mean we're not worthy, cause we are, maybe there's not yet someone worthy of US... cause all the people I've met that didn't have the perfect life, relationship, family... we're pretty damn cool people.

This song has some truth to it. We are enough WITH CHRIST! I have struggled with alot the past few years and have struggled with depression and suicidal thinking but just remember that with God he will give us the strength to get through any trial or hardship and he looks at us and says "You are valuable in my eyes. No matter what you go through or what people tell you I'm with you and your gonna get through it!

I agree with DWA, we are not enough, we desperately need Jesus. We could never live this life alone and be worthy to stand before God our Father. We really really need Jesus for as a gift, grants us freedom from sin, bridging the gap that separates us from God. We also need a Jesus following community to be with, to help us on our way, because we all mess up and fail, and having friends to pick you up and walk with you toward Jesus together is crucial in this life. Jesus Loves you my friend.
