I think that Marcus and Ginny are better off as friends RIGHT NOW, but eventually when/if they work through their own personal stuff, i definitely want them together. I LOVE their relationship. But I love that even tho they are broken up, they are still gonna be there for each other🥹💕

I could rant for hours about the contrast between the hallway scene in episode 8 from Marcus his POV and then in ep 9 from Ginny’s POV… it just hit so hard for some reason and i thought they executed this brilliantly. It shows how Marcus is in complete misery but it’s so much worse in his own mind than other people can see on the outside. They can see something is off but his own experience is literally as if everything is happening in slowmotion and everything is dark. I also like how they showed that Ginny isn’t ignoring him at all, she literally does not see what is going on with him and that’s not really anyones fault. Yeah i just loved those scenes so much idk if any of this made sense but yea eeeeee

Fun fact, the reason 8th and 9th episode feel and look so different is because two different director were in charge of an episode. With the intention to create that feeling of a different perspective (marcus qnd Ginny's) in more ways than just the narrator

Literally seeing depression fully and truthfully shown made me have to take breaks to compose myself. I was heartbroken but gosh bc like we didn’t see angry depression we just sat defeated and sad depression that eats you alive. Like ugh I sobbed

i think jesse/gabriel was actually dumb for having georgia arrested without evidence. unless there was something off screen and the police talked to cynthia, but they can’t really hold her without evidence. i honestly sort of think cynthia might be weirdly sort of on georgia’s team next season. like either she doesn’t believe/want to believe georgia did it and doesn’t allow an autopsy so they can’t indict her, or she finds out and eventually shocks georgia by taking it for what georgia meant it to be. i think that this was georgia’s way of repaying cynthia for trying to protect her with gil. she was trying to protect cynthia and zach from the agonizing pain of a prolonged death. they had basically already grieved him, and him still being in hospice care was taking a massive toll on cynthia. idk if it was her place to play god, but georgia definitely saw what she did as a boon and i think that based on the arc of cynthia and georgias friendship this season, there’s a 50/50 chance that cynthia might see it that way too.

Idk if anyone mentioned it but the breakup ended up happening because Ginny overheard Marcus and Maxine talking about how Marcus didn’t think he could be with Ginny because of his own issues. If you remember there was that one episode where Georgia had a talk with Marcus after he came out of Ginny’s closet, and she told him that he was damaged…..I think Marcus either repeated that to either Maxine, or Ginny but I personally blame the breakup on Georgia. Marcus lost a friend “last year” so before Season 1 started, but I don’t think that makes him damaged…..he’s probably still in the mourning process, and him smoking weed, and keeping to himself is his wave of coping but that doesn’t equal being damaged, unless he has other issues that just were never discussed in both seasons. He and Ginny were happy together, and I think Gregoria made Marcus truly question and doubt himself, and lowkey….you could tell that Georgia almost didn’t care about their relationship, or at least take their true feelings into consideration when Ginny came home afterwards crying to her about it, Austin asked if she was okay, Georgia said that Ginny was okay but Ginny said “no.” I mean I understand some people don’t know how to fully express their feelings…..but when someone so young is experiencing their first true and real heartbreak, they need someone to understand how they feel to help them feel better…..Georgia didn’t do that, and kind of just brushed it off. When Georgia food Ginny that Marcus just had his own issues I looked at her like “girl please you told Marcus he was damaged which is most likely what caused him to doubt himself, and what caused the breakup”:

I agree with you but I do think Georgia realized her mistake after that. She realized when Ginny says "he made me feel safe" you can see it in her then. And the she tells Marcus when they're by the car. She does realize she made a mistake and she might not it is partially her fault. But if we're pointing blame for their breakup, Marcus deserves the least blame. He didn't really do anything. Ginny broke them up, and he agreed cuz of Georgia.

Bro omg I do hope they continue Marcus his storyline with his depression in s3 and/or s4… like we all want to see him happy but I’ve seen so many shows that give a character one bout of depression and then after a few episodes that just completely disappears and they pretend it never even happened and it never returns??? Like, for many of us that’s not the reality and depression is a b*tch that never /really/ leaves, at least not completely (of course it can get much better+easier to handle it but that’s a tough road and relapses and setbacks happen). I do have trust in them though because they portrayed it very realistically and respectfully so far, and I do hope he will be okay in future seasons, okay enough to be with Ginny again ❤ Ok and now I’m done with spamming your comments with rants HAHA, I loved rewatching this show through your videos and I can’t wait to see whatever you do/react to next on your channel!
