You did a great job with that yarn I bought it at Michael's here in Pennsylvania and it was $6 a little tiny skein I did not like working with it and I will not buy it again and like you you have to let it under a light all day for it to glow

Agreed!!! Expensive and hard to use. 😞 I’ll just stick to regular yarn 😂

I have used the Lion Brand DIY Glow yarn, and I found it felt sticky to work with. Definitely a weird experience. That stuff glows extremely well though!

I saw some of that at the store!!!! Yeah, I’m sure the manufacturer has to coat it with something to glow so it feels weird 😞 but at least this kind of yarn is fun to try and use as a novelty!❤️

Could you do a tut on crocheting a mouse if you know how to? Like one standing up so it can hold stuff :3

Awww! That would be so cute! Makes me think of Remy! 🥰 I can’t make any promises, but I hear your request.

What happens when you wash the items? Do they become softer? I've used some cheap W-M yarn that was as soft as could be after washing. The Red Heart SS didn't, BTW.

I should try washing these glow-in-the-dark dinos! 🤔the glow stuff definitely feels like the yarn is coated though so im worried about the dino no longer glowing after a wash. I’ll have to test it out sometime and let you know!

Thanks! The idea for the yarn is super cool. I was thinking if it was softened and used as a blanket, it could help children afraid of the dark.
