Hi Maam... can you please advise as to should we travel through Shinkula pass in May 1st week ( 3rd May). We are starting from Manali on 3rd May towards Leh. Is it dangerous ?

Right now only 4*4 vehicles are allowed through the Shinkula pass (only when the weather is clear or the roads are not blocked), you have to keep yourself updated by local news channels or you can call police department about the pass opening since it changes frequently according to situation

From the Manali bus stand you can ask local people about the timing and vehicle going for Padum ( Zanskar) because it varies depending on the weather, and it costs around 3000-4000 Rs from Manali to Padum, I don't have any contact number since I was personally asking around every other person

Yes I travel in periods, Dard peeda sab hota hai par somehow idhar udhar distract karke manage ho jata hai, Change to jahan bhi gadi rukti hai wahan ho jata hai
