I'm kind of miffed. Clicked the link ordered the pillow, big ole Cdn flag at the top of the site only to find out my card was charged in U.S. funds and shipping is from the U.S. Would never have ordered if I'd known this. No where in the order process was this explained???

Mmmh same for me I just did not looked at it. I assumed it was from Canada. At first the website (on my phone) looked like a scam. The way it is made, with all the extras one after another. I took 2 pillows and 2 pillowcases. Did it press 2 and got 4 by mistake. Contacted the customer service right away. They took enough time to tell me that it was already shipped and could not do anything… Overall the customer experience was bad. I really hope they are good quality 😇

@@mathieutosolini1494 I found mine a bit 'unsubstantial' hard to find the dip for the neck and overall just a bit lacking. Too cheap for the price, 70% off and all. Still miffed at the US thing. :(

I have never wanted to hug anyone as much as I want to hug you right now. The fact that you even TRIED to build drawers is a huge accomplishment! It's happened so many times. I've had a plan, and I'm either the tiniest bit off, or I'm just a couple boards, nails, or screws short and it just so gosh darn frustrating... Then you get so irked at yourself you start to cry.. So you're totally not alone. We've all been there at some point... And being the occasional diyer also, and lived in my first place for roughly a couple years now working with minimal tools, I feel your pain. I've had to start thinking like that older MacGyver tv series like now what, what can I do to make this work with what I've got before i have to go to the store....

Girl…you are building a dresser!!! That isn’t something a typical diy-er does! That’s a PROFESSIONAL build! Give yourself some grace, although I can totally relate to being frustrated with not getting it right the first time. I personally am so proud that you had the confidence to do a project that meticulous. It speaks to your personality more than anything that might come out of your mouth. You keep going and I’m gonna keep watching. Promise. Next thing you know, you’ll be in some high tech space with all the best equipment. It turned out perfect!!

You know, I think sometimes when we tend to be perfectionist, we’re WAY too hard on ourselves. Like you said, this was your first time doing this. I appreciate how honest you were about your frustration. You were right, you could have cut off the camera once things got raw, but you didn’t. This is why I love watching you… and like all of the builds are gorgeous! As far as having the best tools… while it can make your job easier, the way your amazing work turns out is a testament to your creative abilities. Definitely don’t be so hard on yourself… and enjoy your nap. Now I feel better if I start crying while holding a hammer.

Hi , This is like only the second time I have commented, have been subscribed for about three years now I usually am afraid of saying something and it being taken the wrong way. I just wanted to say that with you leaving in your trails and mistakes makes me love you and your videos even more. I have watched other DIYers and they never show the mistakes and that's not true to life. So I hope you keep those miss haps and trail and errors in your videos because all of us that create in one fashion or another make mistakes and we learn from them and know that nothing is perfect in this world and be comfortable in knowing that the people we watch have issues as well. So Thank You for being real. Hugs from Lancaster, Pa. ❤🤗

I totally understand that frustration. I recently(like last week) built a frameless cabinet and was off 1/16 on where I put the euro hinges and have to fill and redrill the holes. I definitely cried. So sucky! One thing I changed for drawers is I use blum undermount drawer slides, which have so much adjustment that it helps so much with that frustration with drawers. Also, I make the drawer boxes ever so slightly small and shim where I need. It looks great so far! Excited for the next episode!

Yup. Felt that moment of utter frustration and disappointment in ma bones. Drawers are HARRRRRD!! Drawers and doors. You’d not think they would be but man they are the reason “The Devil is in the Details” is even an expression, I’m sure of it. Professional, experienced carpenters with alllll the tools can find themselves in that moment of wanting to burn the world down because a drawer is making their life miserable. Thank you for sharing that moment. It’s more inspiring and encouraging to see people encountering problems and challenges and figuring out how to go through them than to see a quick montage of happy clappy perfect endings. You are levelling up your skills with every one of these projects and that is PRICELESS. The freedom you will have moving forward to take on ever more challenging projects …. And we will have seen the progress and will have that in the back of our minds when we undertake challenging projects, too. Very impressed. Well done, Danie 😊

I just built my bathroom vanity and had the exact same thing happen with the drawers and mannnn is it frustrating! Now we know to build and install one drawer before building the rest! You’re such an inspiration and I want to really thank you for sharing the reality of the frustrations!

Yes we do indeed need to see the problems because that is life and the nature of DIY. Been there. Thank you Danie you are so freaking awesome! 😊👍💜🇨🇦

I feel you with that 1/16 struggle. Yes it will happen again with something else. Nobody is perfect and we get through it. I dig that you showed it. Most DIY channels make it seem like they are perfect every time. IMPOSSIBLE! lol

Dani, been there myself. You did the best thing by taking a break. I teach pottery, and I tell my students all the time that if you're not failing on a regular basis, you won't grow. Failing is a teachable friend. Love your channel and your upbeat attitude. Keep it the great work.

I hate when something so small brings us down ... damn you 1/16th! My worst thing is that I never give myself that moment to just let out my frustrations and have a good cry. I admire you for being real with your emotions. I mean hated to see you cry but so impressed with your resilience.

haha i had to get those emotions OUT if I wanted to move on from it. Who doesn't need a good cry once in awhile anyways? FEEL all the FEELS and be lift yourself up because of it. xo

Thank you for showing us all the ups and downs of DIY. I often feel the same way when I find out I've been doing an assignment wrong after finishing most of it 🙃 you are such an amazing positive example of turning an un-ideal situation around!!

Seeing you be vunerable like this helped me a lot. I try my best at projects and I get so down on myself when it's not perfect. It's so validating to see someone as talented as you are, still sometimes face the same. You should be so proud of yourself for not only creating something wonderful, but also overcoming the struggle.

I'm so excited to see the next steps! This series of videos has been genuinely inspiring, you recovered from that mistake beautifully and the dresser and space looks so nice!! I hope you get lots of rest throughout and after the project, you're working very hard and while it's appreciated, you have needs too!

I've seen a lot of youtubers cry/breakdown but never have I crumpled as fast as I did for you. We need a "send hugs" button. You're always so upbeat & excited for things that you inspire me in a lot of ways. I'm glad you did share it, because I honestly love that - not everything always goes to plan, and it's nice to know that for DIY & crafty projects. Still, **sends hugs a month late**.

If you don't cry over a project, did you really make it? You're definitely not alone. I think every project demands a sacrifice; sometimes it's blood, sometimes it's tears, sometimes both. Thank you for being REAL & vulnerable. ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing the setback. As a very part-time DIY’er, every project requires one round of tears or one frustration fight if it’s a team project for me. It is very comforting to know. we’re not that different than an expert DIYer like yourself.
