The same has been happening to me this entire summer!! My hair is so frizzy even though I take my time during wash day and I making sure I am using enough products and I am also deep conditioning weekly and it’s been driving me crazy 😭 so I’ll probably be snipping it tonight! I have fairy knots higher up on my hair but my hair looks and feels healthy and my curls are defined. I would hate to have to do a big chop after all the progress I made

I cut every individual fairy knot since my goal is to grow my hair long. Dusting once in awhile I think prevents fairy knots I boxed dyed my hair twice since I'm transitioning anyways and lawd the dryness. Don't colour your hair if its already damaged like I did lol

I trim my hair myself and i usually do curl by curl. I do mini twists and trim each section for mini twists before i twist it. It's not even but then again my hair grows u even. However i still get a fairly even shape and my natural hair shape remains.

Hi there...it all depends on what type of hair(ie..curl pattern.. thinner/thicker stands, etc.) u have...I have 3a/b curl pattern and its thin but a lot of it...I always get a blunt cut with long blunt layers( makes my hair look thicker and the curls clump better)...also I do this when my hair is wet and pulled down, if that makes any sense:)..hopefully this helps .. good luck!
