I Cut My Own Hair 👀

Alright...you guys asked for it. In today's video I'm going to be giving myself a taper. My hair looks absolutely terrible so surely I can't mess it up anymore! I'll walk you guys through my process and hopefully you enjoy the haircut!

been self-cutting for a year now, takes some time to get used to, especially considering that where I got most of my experience before cutting other people. If you hold the clipper to where your thumb is holding it from the bottom it's much easier to cut, also making sure you're comfortable the way you're positioned towards the mirror helps. mostly just being patient with yourself and taking the time to be precise. its a struggle but eventually it works.

love the transparency, did pretty well considering you aren’t a self cut barber. I think having your wife on the channel or a client would be amazing for the next video. I feel like it would give more or so a beginner barber video and just something eager to see if they aren’t to experienced in the industry ofc. I let my partner cut my hair from time to time and man is it exciting, nerve wrecking and fun lol

Doing self cuts is the only way I can get my reps in consistently. Not a barber, got into it because my older brother has inspired me since he's been doing it for years and want to get into cutting others hair. By the way... I have a tri mirror in my bathroom, it's medicine cabinet.

I think it's natural when cutting your own hair that you cut one side way better than the other. Think it depends on what your dominant hand is. Still not bad though.

Self cuts are hard I cut my own hair but I can write and cut with both my hands so it makes things easier it also makes it easier with a self cut mirror.

I don't know if this was supposed to be a comedy, but I was laughing a good bit just because I can relate to how Sean was complimenting himself as he went. I think it turned out good! Also I have a business question. I usually check in with certain clients that I haven't seen in a few months. One of these check ins was a regular I see once a month so I thought it odd I hadn't seen him in awhile. I texted him and never got a response. My question is what would you do if you were in this situation? Should I ask for feedback as to why he hasn't been coming? Should I leave it alone? I guess I'm starting to take it personal when clients ghost.
