I really like this video because you’re explaining to the woman why are hairs doing what it’s doing and then being a person also of fine hair but mine‘s getting thinner unfortunately I like how you’re explaining it to her and what she has done to her and how what she will be doing to her hair will be better for her And if I was her like she’s going to do, I would just say cut it all off rather than waiting for the stages to grow out I’m not that patient with my hair growing out, but I love your videos so keep making it thank you PS have a happy new year❤

But to see you do it, explain every step, include all the options, include all the products, honestly and with the heart you have, is a pleasure to watch. Fantastic result. It is because I am 78 and my hair is very fine and thinning. STILL highlighting. Not ready for all white. Washed me out. BUT my stylist has never or anyone ever, spent the time you have showing and explaining what you are doing. NOW it is a mess. Blonde with thinning top and white roots. SO, I always do reverse. Have all dark roots all over head. BUT, then the top thin. SO I USE EYE SHADOW AFTER I GET HOME FOR TOP. THEN IN ROLLERS, THEN EYE SHADOW ALL SEPARATIONS. TAKES FOREVER. I HAVE POINTED NOSE AND CHIN. ALWAYS PULL HAIR BEHIND EARS. MIT FLAT ON SIDES. I HAVE WIDE FACE BUT, KIND OF FLAT 8 HAVE BERN TOLD. FAIR SKIN. DO IR CANNOT WEAR ABOVE SHOULDERS OR LIKE THIS ONE. ALWAYS USED TO HAVE LONG LAYERS. NOW, ONE LENGTH. NO ONE WILL FIX TOP. LIKE SIDES ON TOP TO GO BACK W/O A PART. SO, THEN HAVE TO TEASE. NO ONE CAN DO THIS ANY MORE. MY STYLIST 59. EVERYONE YOUNGER WANTS TO CUT IT. I DO HAVE TO SAY, TRUTH HERE ...WHEN YOU CUT YOUR WIFE'S HAIR OFF, I LIKE TO HAVE FAINTED. YES, SHE IS YOUNG. BUT, TOO SHORT. SHE L99KS GREAT. BUT, YOU USUALLY CUT OLDER WOMEN'S HAIR OFF. I DO NOT LIKE THAT. MY FACE IS THEN MORE PROMINENT AND NO HAIR😅. BUT, HER HAIR LOOKS THKRR THAN MINE. IT DID NOT LOOK THIN. MINE IS GETTING THINNER. LOTS OF REASONS I KNOW. BUT, YOU DID A GREAT JOB IF SHOWING HER. SHE SEEMED MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN JUST A CLIENT. YOU SEEMED SURPRISED. I LIKE LONGER TOP WITH LIFT FOR TOP FOR TOP BANGS TO GO BACK. BUT, SHE DEEMED CAPABLE IF DOING THE UPKEEP. IF I USE PINCURLS EXCEPT ON TOP WITH ROLLERS, THEY BREAK ENDS. NO ONE WILL LISTEN. I WM 8N DFW, TX. I HAD A SISTER IN LAW WHO LIVED IN REDMOND IN 80S. MY HUSBAND HER YOUNGER BROTHER. ALL PASSED NOW. GREAT VIDEO. 8 D8 NOT KNOW A STYLIST WHO WOULD WATCH. YOU ARE EXCELLENT. I HAVE WATCHED YOU FOR YRS. OMG, this is my hair type! Most people don’t believe me when I say I have fine hair but because I have sooooo much of it, it looks thick. The dreaded triangle shape has been my nemesis for decades! I learned so much Justin, thank you!!! The biggest problem I’m having now is with breakage though. I swear my fine hair breaks if you look at it the wrong way! 😅 Also, I struggle with chronic pain & am at the point where I just can’t hold my arms up long enough to round brush & blow it dry. Even my hairdresser teases that she doesn’t have to do arms at the gym the days she blow drys my hair! lol I typically just let my hair air dry, but I think that may be adding to my breakage problem. Some days I just want to cut it all off honestly. 😢 Anyway, thanks again for the awesome informative video!! I really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us.

Not only would I pay for it, but I would come back for different looks. For example, she would look great with a natural wavy look. Sage haircut, different style. I might spend this much time for a special occasion but no way am I working this hard every time I dry my hair. I also liked that you taught her a home cutting technique to take weight off. I think hair stylists want us to depend on them but if we look good all the time that equals more referrals for them! Win/Win!

I love to cook, so when I watch a cooking video, I just don't look at the ingredients and then the finished product. I like seeing the brands of ingredients, cookware etc... Same thing. Oh, BTW I bought a Laifen. I'm super happy with it. Thanks for that!

Really detailed which educates. I like it. This lady really knows her hair from a user perspective. I was happy to hear that you include oil in this fine hair which I use on my fine hair. I like that she asks questions. You have the trained eye and touch.

Man, I LOVE THIS FORMAT!!!!!! Astoundingly good and I completely love the back and forth. She was very articulate in what she was struggling with prior to your cut and that is something I need help with... learning a lot for sure!

This was so beneficial to see the breakdown of the why, what to do and not to do…she also was very informed of her needs and asked good questions. Would love to see styling options for older women (60’s) with thinning hair at the crown and throughout. Please continue to do these types of videos❤! Than you for educating us…you’re blessed with so much talent! Lived it!

Your client/subscriber has beautiful hair! As you have shown, Justin, understanding first of all what look a person is trying to achieve and then what type of cut is going to give the best look, (and the cut along with great products), plus how it is blown dry and styled, discerning what areas need to be flat ironed. Lovely style with gorgeous hair! I like most of the Oribe products. Your hands are magic, Justin! Loved this video format!

WOW, Justin, your intelligence and experience with hair blows my mind🤯! I turned 60 years old yesterday and have NEVER had a hairstylist give me a thorough consultation like you do. If only you lived in Austin, Texas😢. I finally grew out my undercut Pixie, after 20 plus years and I'm at a loss. I like having the ability to do more styles with longer hair, just can't seem to get my fine and thinner hair to cooperate.

Yes! Love the details on style and cut😊 I have waited so long to understand my hair, it's baby fine..and everything I try, (new mousses, shampoos, texturizers, hairspray, vel. rollers, heated brush, expensive products, & blow dryer methods...nothing really works on my hair!!!! I'm 63!! It's time to find my cut and style for me! Flat on top and flyaway wavy- not controlled- or volumized like I need at roots..I don't blame my stylist. It must be me. So I'm loving your lessons on hair !!

This was a GREAT video!! Loved how you broke down her cut and explained what was causing the issues she disliked. I finally found someone who has been doing hair for 25 yrs. He goes to classes, he teaches and so on. I see him for the first time this Saturday. Hoping he is able to do what you do! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I LOVED this video! Every complaint/concern she expressed was the same ones I have. I have a high forehead with a widow’s peak and cowlick. (I was surprised how similar we looked when her hair was wet after washing.) I wear “wispy” bangs to try and conceal my forehead, but when they start to grow a bit they start to curl and split off to the sides just like hers does. I have a ton of hair and, although I like it in longer layers, the weight of it makes it hard to retain any volume. I think the best part for me was the tips on how to dry my bangs to make them more cooperative. You do an amazing job with the cut and styling, but what makes it so special is how you take so much time explaining why you use certain techniques. THANK YOU!

I like the cut & style. What I like even more is that he is able to develop great chemistry between himself and the client. He explains precisely what he is going to do and what the client needs to do so she/he can maintain the look. Great hairstyle and great artist is his craft.

You NEED to keep doing these videos! I have been a subscriber since the early COVID years (yes, that's still my stamp of time - before covid or after!) LOL and I just now understand the "c" for using the flat iron.

Love this full-length video format. The cut is gorgeous; it emphasizes the upper part of her face and amazing eyes. Even when you mess up her hair, it looks incredible. I also love that it's fresh-looking , youthful and fun with all that great movement. My hair is the same length with long layers. If I didn't live in New Jersey, I'd be over in a heartbeat for that cut. Thanks for explaining the process and keep up the great vids!
