This looks fantastic! Super long hair always seems like a fun goal, but in reality it's really heavy, and you spend a lot of time in braids, ponytails or buns. I did get really good at braids, though!

Gorgeous before but sounded exhaustedly high-maintenance. Gorgeous after in totally different way that was probably such a relief. I so love that the hairdresser was very honest about how much of the inspo photos were from styling or even AI. They worked together with good communication to pick a realistic plan for desired maintenance level with still very much the vibe of the inspo photos. Cool how the layers and I guess weight off brought out hidden wave. Many of us thought we had straight hair then eventually realized we have wavy or swavy and some of us love and encourage that. I learn from Curly Girl community.

It is for some people, just wasn't for her or she had enough of it. I've had mine between classic and mid-calf for the last decade+. It's extremely low maintenance and no matter my length, I wear a gun or braid most of the time, even when it was just below shoulder length, so I've had the length I want hidden in my bun.
