One of my favourite appearances Miriam made on the Graham Norton show was when she was telling how when she met Laurence Olivia she was star struck and stated that she had creamed her knickers. Another guest, Mathew Perry (actor from Friends) looked horrified and said it was the most disturbing thing he had hears. This made it all the more amusing.

Interested to hear that. I bloody love her appearances on chat shows, but have long suspected that the fun 'outrageous aunty' thing that she does, isn't quite so amusing to be on the receiving end of. She does an amusing 'who are you, never heard of you' thing, that whilst funny on television is, I suspect, a deliberate slight of hand to make everyone around her feel 'less than'. I've studied grandiose narcissism for the last couple of years, and though I could listen to her funny stories for hours (genuinely), I suspect that a very different woman lies within.

@@James-ql9nl The film set was murder on the Blackpool express, for sky TV. She's tiny in real life. Had a quite avian personality. Johny vegas shocked me, quite plummy talking off camera. Nigel Havers was the best, very down to earth, funny but unassuming, he scarpered before before filming wrapped, in case they called to do any re shoots
