Such a gorgeous double (perhaps triple) entendre, this amazing song. On the outside, it is a beautiful love song. Yet, as you well know, Judge, it is also a less-obvious reference to the meeting of minds between two of the greatest artists of the 20th century (and of all time). And knowing these two geniuses, it is also an intended metaphor for the blending of the genres of folk and rock themselves, a hybrid form which both of these world-class composers helped to pioneer. What a brilliant song, and you performed it brilliantly, my friend. Thank you also for reminding us of this lesser-known gem. I hope you and your family will have a great week.
