Bravo my young sister! I love it when young artists learn,play and record classics like this one. I'm for better or worse old enough to remember when this was released back in '71. Ouch that is a while ago isn't it!! Anyway, it means that real music played by musicians on real instruments is still alive and well. I hope this is where a new era for this style of music is started. Young artists all over the world using the net to play together and have a ball. I could tell you having fun because you broke that big smile a few times and isn't that why we play music after all? Be well and save peace to you and yours.

Lovely! She doesn't get it all exactly right but she plays with grace and feel and enjoys what she's doing - that's what music's all about.

Marthe is, I think, a pupil at the Agostini drum school in Dijon. She was site reading drum music, probably a little nervous too, but I think she made a good job of a really great song from Ten Years After. It's better known for Alvin Lee's guitar work - but still a great song to drum along to. Bravo! :-)

Ok, I had no idea there was a such thing as drum music! But this girl is great.

Hardest part is aligning with the subtle rise and fall in tempo - click tracks weren't a thing when this was recorded. She felt her way through it very well.

You can also use the bass drum! There are a plenty range of instruments you can try if you are not comfortable with drums!

You drum well. You move fluidly around the kit. It looked like you were reading drum notes which if you were was impressive to me. Keep it up and have fun.........N

Regardless of what anyone else says, I like this video! It's so boring, that I use it to go to sleep by. But seriously, hopefully she has matured in the last couple years and knows that she has to hit the drums hard and with feeling and maybe even show a smile. There are 8-year-olds getting millions of hits, playing the drums, and she could do that if she played the drums as an artist, instead of mechanically like a robot. That being said, no, I deplore this video, yet I cannot look away. Kind of like "The Kramer". You may have to Google that. I've watched it several times. Keep up the good work, and improve! B😎B 👍

The drummer in the hardest rocking rhythm section in rock and roll music history, Phil Rudd, NEVER smiles. He is working too hard! As is his fellow rhythm section colleagues, Malcolm Young and Cliff Williams. NO SMILES just hard work. BTW Phil and Faces/Who drummer Kenny Jones also stick to the hi hat and snare predominately.(opposite of Keith Moon who also keeps the beat but side to side with cymbals and insanity) The individual stuff is provided by ANGUS!!!

No heart or soul. Performance was very mechanical. Nothing inspirational about this video. Reminded me of watching an elementary school performance. Nice for the famil/parents but lacks any depth.
@christophekarlick48243 жыл бұрын
Can't you just see it's an amateur video from a local drum teaching school. A young girl learning how to play drums. It's not here to impress the world. Only imbeciles like you and others who comment this taking themselves too seriously as experts (lol) don't see this from that perspective. You are just full of shit man.

I'm a little confused. You're pretty good but it seems like you may have been put up to this or maybe just a little nervous, ahhh, maybe some depression, or maybe just don't really give a shit. It seems to be lacking your heart and drive. It's actually a pretty kick ass song and you're doing it quite bland. Not wrong per say, just kinda bland. You should redo it and really put yourself into it, heart and all. It appears that you have that ability. Go for it!
