You can do it!!! Check out my tips and tricks video for help on playing it!! You’ve got this!

@@CoryTeachesMusic i will check it again and practice 'till I get it. My main problem is to change the grip from other chords to a barre one. I'm not able to just hold the ukelele if my thumb changes position that much, at least not in a way in which I can maintain the rythm and the strumming - or picking in this case.
@NachoTeso4 жыл бұрын
@@CoryTeachesMusic ok, so today I got time and focus to actually try this. It went better than expected and it's actually a great song for me to practice the Bb chord. The mix with the Gm7 really helps, so it's a win there. Thanks for the tutorial, it's a great one!

Just got a ukelele, this is the first song I learned because it's one of my favorite songs Thank you so much for making an easy-to-follow tutorial :)
I pretty much know the song now! Thank you so much! I’m still gonna practice until I can play without mistakes, but I’m definitely gonna serenade my family with this song when I’m ready. I need to get over my stage fright at some point!

Hey, great tutorial - I'm learning this to play for my friends engagement :) Just a little thing, I think at 11:33 there's a slight typo with the written chords... for the line 'any other thing in the world' you've written Gm7 but you're playing a G7 in the video. I've played it and I *think* the error is in the writing not your playing... not sure what you can do about it now but I'm mostly mentioning it to be sure I'm not going doo-lally. Thanks x

Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I love your tutorials, especially the Steven Universe related ones! You sing very beautifully and it's easy to understand. But I'm wondering why you use Bb Major and GM7 when you only use the first 3 strings anyways? That should just create the same sound woth both chords. ❤️
@CoryTeachesMusic4 жыл бұрын
While it using the same three strings, the placement of the fingers and are different making different pitches for each string and that effect which chord is played. Great question though! It’s good to notice things like that and ask why/how the chords are made!

Hey I love your tutorials! I'm new to Ukulele and I'm confused as to why the finger placement on the fourth string in F Major D7 Major and Bb Major matter when we're only plucking the 3rd 2nd and 1st strings
@CoryTeachesMusic4 жыл бұрын
It’s to keep the progression. If using the picking pattern it is not entirely required, but it is easier in the long run to use the full placement regardless of what strings you are plucking. That way if you miss when plucking you will still at least pluck a sting that that a pitch in the chord so it won’t sound as off.
