Cam, here's the problem with you asking Dak to take less money via a contract. Dak has done that his ENTIRE career with the Cowboys. Dak's salary cap hits, except for the years he was on the franchise tag, have NEVER been above 30 million dollars. In fact, Dak has restructured his contract EVERY year since 2021, when he resigned with the Cowboys. Why do you think the Cowboys owe Dak 59.1 million dollars for the 2024 season when his contract his 40 million a year? Now, ask yourself what the hell has Jerry and Stephen Jones been doing with that money? The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! So why the hell should Dak take a pay cut or sign for less money when Jerry and Stephen Jones continuously refuse to spend said money? Seriously, stop and THINK. Also, don't blame Mike McCarthy for the Cowboys' failures when all of that can be put at Jerry and Stephen Jones' feet.
