Sure, Cam could run, but there's literally not a single passing stat where Cousins isn't the vastly superior quarterback. Added to the fact that Cousins is still playing while Newton retired after 10 years because his body broke down. And the rushing impact doesn't make up for the passing deficit; Newton has 56 more career rushing TDs than Cousins, and was sacked and fumbled more than he did. Cousins is legitimately a better and more consistent QB than Newton across their careers.

Marino might not have found much success, but he showed why he is a Hofer by throwing the ball the way he did when a gun-slinging QB was very rare.
