Thank you for sharing this. We lost my brother when he was 5 years old, and I was 6, and it has always been comforting to me to know he is safe and continues to live.

It's remarkable to me that one so young as Norm had such an affinity and inclination towards Heavenly Fathers spirit in this world filled with myriad enticements to the contrary. I am glad for him and also for his worthy example to follow. i can only wish that I had known Norm then, to have had someone to be like. With me, God had to send his laborers the Missionaries to my rescue, to awaken me from my fitful dream of life, retrieve me from the sides of a deep dark pit, and establish me in his light. His power to save is miraculous. Similarly, his mercy is unfathomable beyond that it is. It is as if he has raised me from death. Such is the distinction of my conversion via his spirit. Now as my old life fades like a dream upon waking, yet God is forever. And I no longer hunger, thirst or seek men's philosophies. I am reconciled to the truth that our God lives. In the collective uninspired secular view, God is a fantasy, and Joseph Smith was but a man and a fraud, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which he established, is a cult. But in truth, the world is the cult out of which our God has called and established us by way of his spirit as well as his instrument, Joseph Smith. God chose Joseph Smith to restore his Church. Should he have chosen a King, a mighty man, a learned man? He chose a nobody...a boy. Can God not choose whom he may? Who are any of us to say that God is real, that he lives and is divine, were it not that he sent his spirit to testify of these things. Is salvation only to the worlds select.....Is the world our God?
