I love your channel, and am a very enthusiastic supporter of auditing law enforcement. But, what is your opinion of people who audit their fellow citizens (not the police) with cameras in public? I feel like they are just annoying people in the name of the first amendment. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, are these kind of audits serving a real purpose?

Not necessarily, if people give false statements and false witness to the officer especially if they're written statements or verbally recorded statements on audio equipment it can result in a felony arrest and the officer is being lied to by either one person or several persons. If this occurs the people that file the statements written or audio recorded should be charged with a minimum of a third-degree felony. Because it has resulted in someone's Freedom being denied and that person being incarcerated temporarily.

@@shadowbeast2276 some thing I saw in a comment recently that makes sense to me even though I’m not sure if it’s feasible is as follows: these lawsuits aimed at law-enforcement that get paid out should be coming out of the pension funds for police personnel. If the lawsuits are paid out right off the top of the pension funds it will affect all law enforcement. Not just the municipality, county, state, etc. If bad and even criminal behavior from law-enforcement officers affects everybody it seems that cops as individuals would POLICE one another. Sounds good to me and it might result in a situation where way less cops would be tempted to abuse their authority. If any lawyers happen to read this comment and have some input, I’d sure like to hear it. Thanks👍🏻🇺🇸

@@TucoDog-ho6fw I think the one issue with this is that while it could lead to self policing, it could also lead to encouraging cover ups to protect ones future. If self policing leads to good cops getting lower pensions it could discourage self policing. It could also discourage people from the profession because they know they could do everything perfect but some psycho cop the other side of the country could make their sunset years harder.
