On a different note, thanks for always mentioning to not keep fish in bowls! Fish, hamsters and other small animals are some of the most mistreated pets & it makes me very happy to see people speak out for them. Your kindness towards all living beings makes your content even more enjoyable 💖

I agree! I hate seeing fish in fish bowls, and small animals in tiny cages and hutches. We have a rabbit, but she has the full reign of the house, except at night when she has one room as it might be a little bit dangerous. All you can hear is her throwing her toys all night 🤦‍♀️😂

I'm sure she loves & appreciates what you do for her 🐇 It's just very disheatening how there's so much misinformation on how to keep many of the smaller pets, and then people keep them thinking it's easy and cheap, when in reality often proper care is expensive and requires a lot of space and work. My family & I have tortoises as pets. Many people think it's sufficient to keep them in small terrariums, but we dedicated half our garden to give them a proper enclosure and spent tons on greenhouses / shelter, lighting & heating because they need that much space, outdoors...

@@whisperofspring There's so much more to rabbits than people realise! They definitely have their own little personalities. Millie is a bit of a drama llama 😂 And they play by throwing things! So like I said, all we hear all night is Millie throwing her toys around and then the food bowls start crashing about because I would say if she got into her dry food bucket, she'd eat until she was ill 🤦‍♀️ My mum told me about the tortoises they had when they were children. I think they always had two. I remember her telling me that they used to hibernate in the winter? I'm not sure if that's what they're supposed to do?? I wouldn't say people knew as much about how to take care of them 50 years or so ago as they do now 🤦‍♀️😅 Just wanted to add that rabbits are probably harder to keep, and more expensive than owning a dog. There's a lot of work involved in keeping them, and all the food, hay, bedding, and other bits and pieces adds up pretty quickly!

@@whisperofspringmy grandma used to have tortoises too !! they would just walk around the house and the backyard pushing around our furniture lmao. she also had iguanas and they would sit on the back of the couch and sometimes try to steal pizza rolls, if we looked away for a few minutes and lost them we would find them in our cherry tree just sitting on the bigger branches, i was around 8 when we had them so it would scare my friends when they looked out the window and saw a "small dragon" staring at them lmao
